Venezuelan farmers ordered to hand over produce to state

Venezuela's embattled government has taken the drastic step of forcing food producers to sell their produce to the state, in a bid to counter the ever-worsening shortages. Farmers and manufacturers who produce milk, pasta, oil, rice, sugar and flour have been told to supply between 30 per cent and 100 per cent of their products to the state stores. Shortages, rationing and queues outside supermarkets have become a way of life for Venezuelans, as their isolated country battles against rigid currency controls and a shortage of US dollars – making it difficult for Venezuelans to find imported goods.

Preppers' PING!!

Hat tip to DuncanWaring for the heads up!

“gatherers and sharers . . . going around counting and measuring and taking off to storage,” supposedly “for fair distribution.”

Will you be ready when it becomes time for “The Scouring of the Shire”?

Need some sort of hiding procedure, most likely.
This scenario seems to ALWAYS play out.

Yesterday I mentioned the fact that there will be a huge movement here in the US to FORCE preppers to hand over their stashes. It’s coming. It is only a matter of time.

It’s usually called “land reform”. It means stealing land from people who know how to work it, and giving the stolen property to politically favored idiots.

The USSR did the same thing in Russia, after the “REVOLUTION”. The Russian farmers refused to sell their products to the government, so the Soviet government nationalized all the farms and put the Russian farmers on a train for the GULAG. Now, if you think this won’t happen here, you just wait until this government does the same thing, because the farmers will refuse to sell the government their products for pittance.

The farmers will only grow whzt they need for their own use. The state will send out Lazar Kaganovich and Nikita Khruschev to seize it, leaving the farmers to starve. Just like the Ukrainians.

After these poor, illiterate campesinos give up the last of their meager belongings they will emigrate to America and vote socialist out of their ignorance once again.
