So sad. A Canadian arctic research expedition to study "climate change" (always meaning global warming) has been derailed. Why? Heavy ice. However, readers of the CBC News account of the story are left in the dark as to the exact nature of the expedition that is not to be this year. Fortunately, a quick search has turned up a Daily Kos Kossack who is a member of that attempted expedition who was happily chirping out what it is all about last Thursday.
Here is the CBC News report that tells what happened to the Canadian Coast guard cutter without telling us what the expedition was about:

Everybody knows its the Southern/Antarctic ice pack that has grown while the Arctic ice pack has shrunk. You know, where Canada is.

Only one thing to say. Hehehehehe,hahahahahaha, bwahahahahahaha. This story is similiar to the one where the ship got stuck in the heavy ice in the Antarctic. Hehehehe.
Ice growing in both polar regions, but it is the hottest ever in recorded history dude. Just ask NOAA.

“Meeting Neptune has been postponed, because we’re not headed to the Arctic circle for the time being. The ship has gotten called away by the government of Canada to help break ice for supply ships to the community of Inukjuak in the Hudson Bay.”

Inukjuak is about halfway up the eastern shore of Hudson Bay, so I suspect the entire northern entrance to the bay must still be frozen, or at least have huge sheets of ice floating around.
