Wesley Clark is exhibit A for why I’ve always cringed at the notion that “ALL” soldiers” are heroes. That’s just not true...and to say it insults and demeans those soldiers who really ARE heroes.

And to the point, this is scary stuff from this maroon.

That's considered a very dark period of our history. Liberals will even say this should never happen. However, now we have liberals like Wesley Clark and Hillary Clinton calling for Concentration Camps.

In this “INVERTED WORLD” where what was once good is now bad and what was bad is now good.... YOU KNOW, this will be used against Veterans, gun owners, Conservatives, the Tea Party, the Libertarian Party, Constitutionalists and Protesters. In other words anyone that politically disagrees with the current Administration. Just like the Miac report.

Clark and Clinton are just showing their true colors. What Tyrants they hope to be.

General Clark Calls for WWII-type Internment Camps for U.S. Citizens

This boob has been a national disgrace for years reflecting idiocy on the morons who promoted him to General and the senators who confirmed his elevation to that rank. He was totally incompetent while serving and nothing has changed. He belongs in a mental institution.

“Despite this, FDR issued his order and appointed Lt. General John DeWitt, head of Western Command, the administrator of the internment program.”

No story about the Japanese internment is complete without mentioning the Niihau incident. In fact, any story that doesn’t mention that, is pure propaganda.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niihau_incident

We can cry and screen about how evil FDR was for doing that, but most of us didn’t experience what Americans experienced circa 1941.

A nice padded room, with soft music playing, for the general.

Clark is a piece of work; first he almost starts a shooting war with the Russians in Kosovo (thank God for General Sir Mike Jackson), now he is talking about concentration camps for American citizens. Make no mistake about it either. Clark is not simply talking about islamists, as the article suggests. He is talking about ANYBODY that the government decides to label a threat to its power of control.

How about 'undesirables', Wes? Maybe they will make you a camp trustee cabin boy.

Well, this is the same General who provided the armored personnel carriers for Janet Reno’s boys to use during the Waco siege.

Gee, Weasley—Are “disloyal” Americans also going to have to wear something like crosses on their clothes for everyone to see, as well?

In our earlier story, (see below), we quoted British Gen. Michael Jackson as rightly refusing Clark’s order to attack Russian troops moving on the Pristina airport in Kosovo. At the time, Clark was Supreme NATO Commander and Jackson leader of all ground forces in the region.

“I won’t start World War III for you, sir,” snorted the tough British commander. When word of Clark’s instability reached Washington, even Secretary of Defense Bill Cohen, managed to have the “moxie” to call Clark home early and “retire” him from the Army. No less than Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Army Chief of Staff, confirmed Clark had been “fired.”

"...they don’t support the United States and they are disloyal to the United States as a matter of principle, fine. It’s their right, and it’s our right and obligation to segregate them from the normal community for the duration of the conflict.”

Who gets to determine who is disloyal and who is patriotic and supporting the Constitution and Founding Father's intent? Think anyone out there would consider us "disloyal" to "the cause" on the topics of, oh, I don't know... Gay rights / gay marriage; gun control; illegal immigration; right to life; etc?

Internment camps are an extremely bad idea and would set a horrific precedent that we (as a people) would no doubt regret.

The Japanese were assimilating into American culture for the most part. A dark spot in our history thanks to demoncRATS again.

I’m sure there were probably a few still quite loyal to the homeland, but they wouldn’t have had the implicit and complicit silent support from “moderates” to try and carry out some kind of sabotage or shooting....nor did they have apologist groups running around screaming bigotry and racism at the drop of a hat when one of them did something to warrant a response.

No, no internment camps for islamists...just deport them, all of them. Their idealogy is NOT compatible with a free society.

The camps will be for white guys from rural Michigan to attend church, listen to talk radio and have a Confederate Flag somewhere in the garage.

Politics aside, I never thought much of this guy. Yes he served, but he also has been a consistent self-promoter above anything else. Loves to be on TV and the sound of his own voice. I guess he would have been a better democratic president than Obama, but that’s about all I can say for him.
