In a July 23 interview published in the New York Observer, actor Richard Dreyfuss said he would like to rewrite the 2nd Amendment to make it clear it applies to the militia rather than individual rights.

Dreyfus = Putz or Fool. Both are accurate descriptions.

The facts aren’t in, but to me it looks like the Waco event included some small “gang” component and a larger “club” component, and that the former provided an excuse for LE to ambush the rest, probably out of fear, but maybe out of some political motive. Are we on the same page?
But, what I don’t know is that if the clubs are just weekend riders, do they have the grit and the cohesion to function as foci for militia in the good sense as you and I probably understand it? That’s what I don’t know. Organization, dedication, numbers—that’s what is important.

I used to think he was okay. I guess I was wrong.
Here’s the more verbose version the Founding a fathers wrote before trimming the obvious & redundant bits:
“A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, being the best security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; but no person religiously scrupulous shall be compelled to bear arms.”
If RKBA somehow needs clarification, there it is.
