Hasn’t he been convicted of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy?
They’ve yet to open the case and the lawyers have been delaying the start of this. I think they want some negotiation phase where he admits guilt on one thing....gets a year or two...then gets released. The one charge....if I remember correctly...can only get a max of five years. The other charge....life in prison.
I would think in this case...they will drug-test Bowe within hours after he’s back in their custody. If he comes up positive....its a zero chance that he gets a regular discharge with benefits attached....even if he beats the court episode.
Just looking at this as a movie script....its a five-star script and they’ve just added another fifteen minutes with a pot-raid.
