Anger is understandable. Responding violently is unacceptable.

If the sexes were swapped, and it was the husband trying to kill the wife over her cheating, would you say "His rage is understandable"? If you said that in public, your female friends would ostracize you, and your company's HR department would get complaints about your presence creating a "hostile work environment". Which they would act upon.

Unless you're female in real life, in which case you would get a pass.

Agree it is understandable. But we cannot give much leniency to “angry” people every time they attempt murder. Nomatter how justified it seems.

Committing murder because of anger is NO BETTER than a man who’s sexual feelings got the better of him.
