ABC News(WASHINGTON) — One of the Republican party’s top supporters is showing his support for Ted Cruz.  The endorsement was announced Friday in a statement from the Cruz presidential campaign.

"U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, today received the endorsement of Brent Bozell, conservative stalwart and president of the Conservative Victory Committee,” read the statement.

Bozell released a video announcing his support of Cruz's candidacy for President.

"Make no mistake: If the Republican Party repeats what it has done the last two presidential elections, Republicans will lose. I guarantee it," Bozell said in the video. "On the other hand, if we nominate a principled, passionate conservative America can count on to restore her greatness, there will be an outpouring of support."

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Still at four percent in most polls. I pray that number increases soon. Trump has been great for putting the media in their place, but I do not see him as Presidential material, and the bad precedent of billionaires buying the office could also be set.

BUT if Trump stays in, I'm with him.

Together they can/will get this country back in gear

Which candidate can we trust to reign in the state agencies that flout the constitution? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to work to change the tax and spend, big government culture in DC? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to go up against the corrupt, crony capitalistic culture of DC? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to steer the ship of state back to the constitution? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to repeal Barry's amnesty? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to support and work with our allies, especially Israel during these times? Ted Cruz

Which candidate can we trust to stand up to Boehner-McConnell corrupt-o-crats? Ted Cruz

The list goes on and on, but I will stop here for now.

I forgot one more extremely important issue-

Which candidate can we trust to appoint Supreme Court justices who follow the constitution, along the lines of Scalia, Alito, and Thomas? Ted Cruz

With any of the other candidates, you will get the likes of Kennedy at best. This issue is going to be huge for the next election.

The current leading reality show candidate will not appoint a constitution following justice.

I’m with ya... I love Ted.

I don’t want to give up my Trump support however, because I love stickin it in their faces.

but Cruz is a terrific guy.

Heard him on Levin’s radio show last night... he’s a street fighter.

He should keep it up.

Please look at the internals of the polls...most aren’t even Republican polls. Interesting how Cruz NEVER gains or loses a point...he is always at 4%.

Look at grass roots Republican polling, fund raising, etc...Cruz is doing MUCH better than being reported.

Besides, it is still too early to panic.

Don’t billionaires already buy office? Most just don’t take it out of their own wallets but accept it from others. I don’t see much of a difference.

I especially like the fact that Trump is paying his own way right now.

I just can’t figure out why Jeb is polling so high already. That doesn’t seem real to me.

The professional GOPe party apparatus the Bushes built, the list of donors Rove has , the big money that they can get.
Bush can be as DOOFY as he looks say Illegals are pure Gold for America, a gift from God, any dumb crap. The party itself has its own interests in Jeb being capable of giving them power and Jobs, it doesn’t matter what dumbass things he says.

Because, there is a LARGE contingent of Leftist Republicans who vote...

And, because in “regular” polls where only a small sample of actual Republicans vote, Jeb ain’t doing so well.

He needs help from the Left.

Romney was able to win so many primaries with the 30% support the GOPe has, since the 70% conservatives in the party are too dumb to ever hold a conservative convention and unite their vote choosing 1 candidate.

Bush isn’t doing near as well as Romney because he has so many RINO’s in the race too.
