[KY] State forbids pastors calling homosexuality 'sinful'
WND ^ | 7/24/15 | Bob Unruh

The state of Kentucky has begun imposing a religious test on volunteer pastor counselors in its youth division, insisting that they refrain from calling homosexuality “sinful” and dismissing those who cannot bend their religious faith to accommodate the state requirements.

The policy was uncovered by Liberty Counsel, which has sent a letter to Bob Hayter, commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice, demanding that the state religious test be dropped and that a dismissed counselor be reinstated.

“Liberty Counsel writes regarding the blatantly unconstitutional revocation of volunteer prison minister status of ordained Christian minister David Wells, who has provided voluntary spiritual counseling and mentorship to juvenile inmates under the control of the Department of Juvenile Justice. … This revocation was issued by Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center on the basis of the April 4, 2014, DJJ Policy 912, which mandates full DJJ support of homosexuality and transvestism.

“With no evidence of any violation of DJJ policy on Mr. Wells’ part, his volunteer status was revoked by the Warren RJDC superintendent because he could not sign a state-mandated statement that homosexuality was not ‘sinful,’ among other things,” the letter said.

The policy states that DJJ staff, volunteers and others “shall not imply or tell LGBTQI juveniles that they are abnormal, deviant, sinful or that they can or should change their sexual orientation or gender identity.”

Please note this is an organization for children, a prime target for male queers to access little boys. Did anyone learn what the queers did to the Catholic priesthood, or do they even care?

Following the downfall of Sodom and Ancient Rome, queers were properly classed as sex offenders. The pendulum has swung back to Sodom and is on the side of indecency once again.

Queers stated in public back in the 80s they would have their day of raping little boys. It is a part of QDS, the Queer Derangment Syndrome.

(((...”What comes upon the Earth when the restrainer is taken out of the way is the wrath of God... Paul assures that we are not appointed unto wrath, but to obtain salvation.... The Rapture of the Church of Jesus The Christ will be Raptured ‘before’ the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth in growing degrees of severity.... The Body of Christ is not due the wrath of God”....)))

Yes, I agree.

The “man of sin,” “the son of destruction” won’t be able to come until God permits it ‘by removing the restraining power’.... The reason for the restraint was so that the Antichrist would be revealed ‘at God’s appointed time and no sooner”...just as was Christ because God controls Satan.

The Holy Spirit of God is the only Person with sufficient power to do this restraining... How does He do it?... Through Christians,... He works in society to hold back the swelling tide of lawless living.

At some point He will be removed from the earth, ‘allowing sin to have dominion over mankind’..... This can only happen when all true believers in Jesus Christ is removed......

The Holy Spirit lives within each believer....so when the church leaves the earth at the rapture, the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way in the sense that His unique lawlessness/restraining ministry/ through God’s people will be removed.

.....as soon as individuals again start placing their faith in Christ during the tribulation, the Holy Spirit will again be “present” in the world...But His ministry of restraining, seems limited to the time before the tribulation.

Those who woul dhave us deny the Rapture before the Tribulation do not discern the wrath sources. The Church Age is rife with tribulation from men upon men. The Tribulation is when God pours out HIS WRATH upon the earth dwellers who did not leave in the Rapture.

Additionally, during the Church Age there is no differentiation between Jew and Gentile. During the Tribulation Jews, not the church, JEWS are doing the evangelizing.

A third point overlooked when trying to place the Rapture at mid-trib or post trib is the reality that the first resurrection need not be a single day event. God is not limited by human reasoning, He transcends it! The Second Coming of Jesus to set foot upon the Earth was not somehow violated when Jesus confronted Saul on the dusty road to Damascus. The Power of God can accomplish things in ways we could not even dream of a century ago.

The Church teaching for generations was covenant theology. It did not account for the rebirth of Israel in their Promised Lands. It had never been done in the History of Humanity that a nation was utterly destroyed then reinstated after 2000 years. Even during the Jewish captivity there were a remnant of Israel in the lands, awaiting re-upping by decree of the ones who had conquered them.

It is odd that covenant theology has to make all sorts of twists to the scripture passages in order to avoid what Jesus taught in the Olivet Discourse. He said clearly that there would be another temple built at the end of the Age, and it would be in that temple that the abomination which makes desolate would happen, in Israel, IN Jerusalem, IN THE TEMPLE The Jews would build again. That prophecy was given 37 years before the temple He and the four disciples on the Olivet mountain were looking at, gleaming in the setting sun!

Yes.

<<<<....”It is odd that covenant theology has to make all sorts of twists to the scripture passages in order to avoid what Jesus taught”....>>>>

In pre-millennial theology the very basic teaching is to keep Israel and the Church ‘distinct’.... this solves many of the issues that Amillenialists and Preterists have with Israel.

Twisting scripture to “fit” ones position is not at all uncommon for those who would seek their opinion over the facts of scripture.

All of these pastors should tell the state to "F#%& Off!" and let it find some new volunteers.

No,they should force the cops to drag them away in handcuffs.

A Pastor can marry a man and a woman without a marriage license, as a free expression of their religion. Such marriages will not be registered in public records, with the weight government controls therewith. But marriages can be made before The Lord and ignore the government.

Thanks for the ping to your in depth study.

Haven't posted to this thread yet IIRC, but in connection with the subject of it, I want to mention that Canada has pretty much outlawed preaching from the Bible what it teaches about homoxexuality. (Unconstitutional here in our country)

Coming to a country near (very near) you as soon as satan’s power is built up a bit more here in the USA.

>>No where is your evidence they dont take cases because they are afraid of what losing will do to their win/loss record? That was the question i asked you.

I never said they were afraid. I said that they don’t waste limited resources on lost causes. You agreed. I don’t need to prove sh|t.

What is it about the "separation of church and state" that these morons don't understand???

Please do not post strawman responses to me.

It insults both of us.

As Paul explains clearly in 1Corinthians 15, The first resurrection, at the last trump, includes all of Yeshua’s assembly from the time of Adam onward. He mentions nothing of numbers, and especially not 144,000.

John, in the Revelation, ch 20, mentions no numbers either.

Yeshua himself said that there would be “few” that would follow his narrow path, but few is not a number either.

The GWT is 1000 years after the resurrection unto life, after the completion of the demonstration of the wickedness of man himself, without the influence of Satan, wich is followed by Satan’s final hurrah.

Nothing in the word of God indicates anything but judgement at the GWT. It is “the second death.”

>> “why does God have to resurrect the dead in order to cast them into the Lake of fire?” <<

.
Because he is a just God, not a capricious master.

Can you say “Governor Bevin”? Kentucky is a foolish place to try this. Some lib has surprising gonads if he thinks he will get by with this.

Here it is as simply as I can make it.

Your post includes 2Thessalonians 2:3, which clearly calls for the departure from Torah, and the revealing of the “Man of Sin” before the resurrection. Paul also says that the mystery of iniquity (departure from Torah) was already at work.

Where does that leave room for a secret rapture?

It is not promised, and is specifically denounced by Yeshua himself. He asks the Father to protect, but not to take out his elect.

John 17:15

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Revelation 3 promises those that have “watched” (diligently kept his appointed times) will be protected in a place prepared for them, not taken out.

The appointed times are the "oil" for the lamps of which you often speak.

One cannot be ready unless one is aware of YHVH's calendar, which sets out when all of his events take place.

Those that observe his calendar will know that when they see the abomination, their redemption will be in 42 months, at Yom Teruah. Yeshua told us so in the passage where the non-watchers think he said it would be unknown, but when we see the new moon we will know what is happening. Satan's presence before the throne of God is what is presently holding back the final week.

When he is cast out to the Earth, it will all happen quickly.

God's wrath cannot be poured out until the tribulation is ended by the resurrection of the saints. Then the bowls of wrath are poured out, after that we return with Yeshua as conquering King, no longer a savior. We will be on the Earth in our new bodies, but no longer of the Earth.
