Historically, it has always been the Republican Party that splits. It has been a odd mixture of liberalism from the viewpoint of citizen rights before those of the government and the original constitutional goal of preserving the sovereignty of the states v the the Federalists. This liberal view has often taken the position of Libertarian whereas the so called liberal view of the Democrats is not liberal at all, it is liberal with other peoples money in the battle-cry of Marxism. This Republican libertarian-ism is what Trump is tapping into as is Bernie Sanders in the Democratic party. Both the traditional Republicans are owned by the NY banks as is Hillary Clinton, in who more people now distrust Hilary than trust her. This Republican libertarian-ism actually traces back to Thomas Jefferson the ultimate anti-Federalist. Jefferson championed the Bill of Rights that both the Republicans and the Democrats no longer respect as demonstrated by Obamas actions being indistinguishable from Bush regarding the NSA and both sides called Snowden a traitor.
The humility of Jefferson further showing his Libertarian views can be demonstrated simply by reading his tombstone. There is no mention of him being President of the United States. His accomplishments regarding liberty and for his home state are duly noted. He omitted any mention of being President since he was an anti-Federalist

The only third party is the GOPe, they’re just in denial about it.
Historically, it has always been the Republican Party that splits. And, we're done with this one.
Well if people would have listened after Palin lost the election that the GOP saddled her with, we would be several years into an organized third party today.
But each and every step of the way, Liberals screamed bloody murder and still do it today. As a result we have a thoroughly liberal GOP that actively attacks conservatives and some people lack the intelligence to oppose that.
Oh well.
If the GOPe blackballs Ted out of the nomination, then let Trump go third-party and sink the GOPe candidate. Let’s see how the GOPe likes that!
We have already seen that. They will give Democrats the cloture votes to pass every piece of socialist legislation they bring up, and taunt us with, “Elections have consequences.” We are told we can’t teach the party a lesson by not voting for them, but they think they can teach us one by surrendering to the Dems.
Run Jeb and watch the party collapse.
The democrat party is always the party of liberalism. Ths GOP hasn’t been the party of conservatism for a long time.
The Whig party disappeared within 2 or 3 election cycles of the appearance of the Republican Party.
The Whigs were unable or unwilling to come to terms with slavery.
The Republican Party is unwilling or unable to come to terms with stopping the illegal alien inundation.
The citizens have no representation.
Nature abhors a vacuum.
and the 1948 Dixiecrat schism — the Dewey ticket still lost big, a mere 14 states in the Electoral College, Strom Thurmond took four states (and one renegade vote).

exactly right.
We just heard “elections have consequences” again today where our Rep had his “townhall” and was met with calls for obama’s impeachment
Quite stunning how electing a Republican Senate, a Republican House, in an election that was a bloodbath for Democrats doesn’t have consequences, isn’t it?
We should have started a third party a long time ago. The longer we wait the higher the stakes if we lose. We may have to lose at first as part of getting established. By the grace of God hopefully not. We cannot keep putting up with having such a destructive essentially one party system.
Freedom Party.
Terd Party Bazeball Report
Cruz hits a 3 bagger bases full home run with a swing at McConnell. That after one day of reporting gets forgotten as Trump takes a swing at Walker then the Hill-a-Billys. It’s all about me kiddies .
