Lindsey Graham might thank Donald Trump for getting him to finally buy a new phone, but the South Carolina senator said today he still doesn't think the Republican Party should "hire" the real estate mogul as its presidential candidate.
Graham made national headlines last week when he destroyed his old-school cell phone after Trump read the number aloud on national TV, but Graham had more just jokes for his opponent in the race for GOP presidential nomination.
Speaking exclusively with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," the senator said he sees great dangers in continuing to support Trump, the current Republican frontrunner in the polls.
"I would ask the Republican Party why most major companies are firing Mr. Trump, and I don't think we should hire him," Graham said.

All he had to do was change his number. Instead he destroyed a phone that I’d bet was paid for by tax dollars. That’s destruction of public property and he should be charged. He should at the very least be forced to reimburse the government.
Bottom line is he was putting on a show. Which is what he accuses Trump of doing. I think destroying the phone makes him look like a jackass.

Graham voted against the one article that would have gotten Clinton removed from office through impeachment. He voted with the democrats. Even the commentators were shocked. I’d bet the Clinton machine was going to out him.

While the GOPe and most of the senate might concur with your opinion here, the rest of America thinks: What, they just want lawlessness? Brown skinned slaves for corporate America? Or, the more typical one, ‘I'm just voting for the Democrat, whoever that is, except Hillary, unless she's the nominee, then I'm voting for a woman rather than Hillary, because it's TIME that a woman be president!’

Actually, Lindsey, it is you and the rest of the political ‘elites’ who have been selling fear and prejudice. The voices of Americans have become progressively suppressed, and plenty of people live in fear of repercussions for expressing their opinions. Your buddy McCain calls those who don’t agree with him ‘crazies’. What do you call them?
Brave men and women do not shy away from letting others express their opinions. We defeated the USSR, only to go on to try to emulate them. Whatever happened to ‘I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it”? We’re a different country than we were.
