The obsequious pantywaist should stick to what he does best, groveling before militant leftists.

Groveling before militant Leftists is exactly what he’s doing here; trying to carve out a niche in a Democrat race being dominated by Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

I like when the gun grabbers act horrified when they show a gun that fires a bullet every time you pull the trigger. That would make a revolver an “Assault Weapon”.

...called on Congress to ban "the sale of assault weapons" and "[establish] a national gun registry." He also said it is time to "[increase] inspections" on gun shops and mandate that gun owners lock up their guns in their homes.

Even Canada junked their national gun registry after it cost billions and didn’t solve or prevent a single crime.

Cost doesn't matter and the purpose is not to solve crime, it is to confiscate.

With a national registry, after the Social Security Administration puts your name on the NICS prohibited persons list because you asked for help with your checkbook, they can then go to your door and ask for all of your weapons by make and serial number.

No "assault weapons" were used at Lafayette. Commie "one note" O'Malley just can't help himself. Ban. Ban. Ban. Go away jackass. The MENTALLY ILL shooter at Lafayette LIED on his Form 4473 question 11f. He HAD been involuntary committed to a mental institution. The NICS system failed to detect that he lied, so the government is the cause of the failure. Further, when valid NICS denials occurs, the government never follows up. It is a waste of money. Pointless harassment. Real criminals aren't buying firearms where NICS would catch them anyway.

Not to omit the "gun registry" BS. Hitler would approve. He called for the same thing before confiscation and genocide. Mao did the same thing. Adolf O'Malley has a nice ring.

Let me guess, any firearm would be considered a “assault weapon.”
