Oh, science fiction! Alright, I must admit, I read many science fiction books in my younger days. It’s good for the brain.

Designing a frame for a mid-rear engine project, too (nothing real fancy, just mild steel, considering rebuilding a Honda FWD engine). Haven’t put a roll chassis together since the late-’70s while doing steel machining and fab and being a young, speed-addicted fool after work (circle track, wore me and friends out).

It appears that no one is welding seamless tubing together with a stick welder any more. Feeling like Rip Van Winkle. What happened to the world?

Welded tubing is still a good way to build a car. If I do another one it will be carbon fiber.
