Were algore or the hildebeast anywhere near these locations? Usually when they are near, it, for some reason, tends to cool things down and strange weather develops. I'm thinking blizzard in "gay" paris in December for the giant confab about what to do about the gas that helps sustain life on earth. We must rid ourselves of See Uh Oh Two once and for all.

Yeah but global warming marches on.
Lake Superior could turn into a year-round ice cube, but global warming would still be marching on.

Oh please. I’ve been snowed on in the Uintahs in summer numerous times over the last 25 years. There is nothing rare about summer snow in the Rockies. Maybe not usual but not rare.

It was something when the cold front blew through my Montana home yesterday (North of Yellowstone Park).
We did not get snow but lot’s of hail and wind. Broke out the snow shovel to clear the hail out of the door ways - otherwise if a door was to be opened the floor would be covered with little balls of ice.
Mid 80’s tomorrow!
Summer in Montana - wonderful!

We are probably going into a Dalton/Maunderlike Minimum where it will be significantly cooler for a few decades. History and the sunspot cycle seem to guarantee that. The results will include reduced agricultural production and much higher food prices and famine in some parts of the world.

I nearly switched from cooling to heating mode last night. We started the morning at +39F and won't break +60F today. The thermostat is set to hold at +75F. Expecting +90F over the weekend. Expecting mid 30's overnight. The snow level dropped to 9,000 ft overnight. Enough to put white caps on the surrounding mountains. I'm at 4600 ft.
