I think both the cop and DA would be wise to negotiate a plea bargain.
That’s the problem with video evidence: it brings up as many questions as answers. You can’t see the left hand, and the standard used for self defense is some variation of reasonable fear of death or grave bodily harm. Conviction is guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
It’s being reported they have another video. Likely from his partners body cam.
You have to remember, both cops lied on their reports, to create a legitimate motive for the shoot. Anything further from them can and will be totally impeached.
