Once Cruz demonstrates he can gather enough primary support from voters to win, he will be viable. In the meantime, he’s a great guy.

I’d love to see him turned loose on DC. It hasn’t happened yet, but it is a marathon and not a sprint. I still expect the Donald to flame out. A little Donald goes a long way.

He is going after the banks and corporations that demanded bailouts.

That plays very well.

Trump is going after illegal immigrants, which also plays well but many hold back for fear of being attacked as racist.

Sanders and Trump are both grabbing one of the “live” rails in politics today. Both the DemE’s and the GOPe’s are scared. If there was a candidate that was credible on both accounts, they would be a major player.

NO, trump is potentially better than Reagan. Look back at the era in which Reagan upset the media. It was a confederacy of dunces.

We lauded the spectacularly untalented but gushing Elizabeth Taylor. Pre pubescent leading ladies like Audrey Hepburn and Leslie Caron were cast as love interests for grand fathers. Hollywood successfully convinced us that Cary Grant could fall in hopelessly in love with a painted & barefoot Italian whose greatest claim to fame were enormous mammary glands. On a houseboat no less.

How ever did they coax Christopher Plummer out of his trailer every day to recite such tripe in lederhosen?

No, Reagan was a dotty old Hollywood star - at ease in front of a camera, relaxed in the spot light, and light on his feet.

the times didn’t require much... This boomer was unimpressed with much of the 60’s — and pretty much anything since. Thank goodness my parents wouldn’t allow those rag tag Englishmen be played in the house.

It was the Jackie Gleason orchestra playing in our den.

but I digress

Trump will destroy the Big H — she’s too thin skinned, and not good on her feet. Everything with her has to be choreographed, and predictable. Bill would be a proper foil. Not Hillary.

Trump on Hillary? OMFG I can hardly wait

No, Trump is Ross Perot. A rich, populist whose thin skinned narcissism eventually bleeds into paranoia. Everyone is out to get him. I see the beginnings of that now.

Trump is not my guy but to lose to all these Quisling Dems is just sad as we see our nation collapse into a 3rd world status and defeat. Sad and very destructive.
