MARK LEVIN: THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WON ITS MAJORITY ON A LIE
Breitbart Big Government ^ | August 1, 2015 | JULIA HAHN

Posted on 08/01/2015 1:53:37 PM PDT by Hojczyk

The audience, comprised of more than 200 students from around the nation, was thrilled to hear from one of the most influential minds in the conservative movement. In his speech, Levin discussed many of the ideas put forth in his new book, Plunder and Deceit, which is already winning accolades from many notable conservatives.

[Boehner] is essentially delivering for Barack Obama everything Barack Obama wants. Just because you’re dressed up as a Republican doesn’t make it so… By his actions, he has demonstrated that he is not a conservative. He spends his time with [Rep. Kevin] McCarthy (R-CA) and [Rep. Steve] Scalise (R-LA) conspiring against the Tea Party and the more conservative elements of his caucus…

I can’t think of one significant advance in the cause of liberty or limited government under John Boehner. When he and [Sen. Mitch] McConnell (R-KY)—who’s equally bad— surrendered the power of the purse right out of the box… they just delivered Obama everything he wanted. So these men have helped Obama oversee the biggest explosion of government both in spending and in power ever.

But they are doing more to dispirit Republicans and conservatives than Barack Obama, because people go to the polls, they give them the House, then they give them the Senate, and they get nothing. They also seem to think that bipartisanship is the reason they’re in Washington. No, the reason they’re in Washington is to advance the cause of liberty and prosperity and constitutionalism. Why would you want to participate in a bipartisan government when the President of United States is openly usurping the rule of law and openly attack the private sector and individual sovereignty?… Why wouldn’t you do everything you can to throw a wrench in his agenda?

Perhaps you might find a moment to read my FR bio.
Nobody on FR gives a damn about your FR bio, Karl. Least of all long-term Freepers.
I think I have pretty good creds to speak on the issue, at least my clients think so.
Bullhockey. Go blow your horn on Fox News.
Pompous? Moi? Heaven forbid, NO! Experienced, yes.
You drip with pomposity. I'm sure that works inside the Beltway and your "clients", but not here. We have nothing but disdain for people who are full of themselves.
If we all don’t need “Election Intelligence,” what about the FReepers who were part of the so-called Conservative movement that helped re-elect Obama because they sat out the election claiming Romney wasn’t “Conservative enough?”
OK Karl, come out of the shadows...

FYI...We've got a live one here...a pompous newbie who's going to lecture us long-time Freepers on how to win elections based on his extensive "client" list and resume posted on his FR bio. Personally, I think it's Karl lurking...

but how do we get them all out?

As far as I can tell, term limits is the ONLY way. And that can only be achieved through a convention of the states and an amendment to the Constitution.

It’s a shame you don’t like reality.

Regarding winning elections, I would have thought those who advised sitting out 2012 because Romney wasn’t “conservative enough,” and thereby ensured another 4 years of Obama would have learned their lesson.

Apparently not.

Love Levin.

My only worry is that he sometimes forgets that to win elections, we need to garner the votes of 8 to 12 % of the Great Unwashed, and sometimes he gets a bit strident and scares them away.

Have a good Sunday.

I listen to Levin nearly every day....but...

Always in the back of my mind are these nagging issue: Obama’s eligibility, Obama’s crude forgeries, Obama’s murky past ( especially Columbia), Obama’s own book jacket claiming he was born in Kenya, a fake Social Security number, etc.

Levin ignored it all.

If and when true tyranny comes to the U.S. these radio yappers will sell their talents to the fascist oligarchy. They will spit shine the jackboots crushing our necks.

Romney lost because he ran a lousy campaign. Nobody else to blame but him.

Romney made huge mistakes. Debate #2 was the worst.

As a result of this mistakes, and a huge Dem operation to convince Conservatives to stay home on election day, we have Obama for another 4 years.

These are all debatable facts. The fact the MSm ignored them too is a scar on them.

My current concern, and it is huge one, it what more damage will he do with “his pen” in the next 18 months.

The destruction of Israel, the possible elimination of all US nuc weapons, the destruction of the US military as an effective protective force, a nuc weaponed Iran, the effective elimination of US borders, the freeing all or most Black inmates, are all within his grasp.

I am very frightened about this very dangerous man.

You are arguing with an idiot that spouts long disproven ‘conservatives stayed home’ excuses. If he can’t even use simple facts/get simple facts right, it’s no wonder he’s recreating here instead of ‘working’ in DC. Because he likely made that up as well.

I seem to remember about a year back someone very much like him riding lightning so retread isn’t entirely impossible.

Would to God Pro-Lifers were as quick to learn this lesson as conservatives have been.

Hadn't thought about a retread. My initial impression was some GOPe agent sent to FR to "educate" us poor childlike conservative hicks on the virtues of inside-the-beltway wisdom.

He wasn't conservative enough.

1. He supported/supports Abortion in the cases of Rape, Incest, life, and HEALTH of the mother, in other words, he is Pro-Abortion.
2. He supports the Gay Agenda. He implemented single-handedly implemented Gay marriage in MA WITHOUT the Legislature, he supports Gays in the Military, he Supports Gays in the Boy Scouts, he supports Gay Adoption.
3. He supports socialized medicine (see Romney Care).
4. He supports Global Warming including coming within a hair's breadth of implementing his own Regional Carbon Trading Scheme.
5. He wanted to ban "Assault Weapons"
6. AFTER the election, he came out fully in support of Comprehensive Immigration Reform (Amnesty).

He was definitely not conservative enough, in fact, he was not a conservative at all.

So you helped Obama get re-elected.

No, you only have the GOP-E, Mitt Romney and his progressive liberal positions, and those like yourself who supported the worst possible candidate that could be nominated for the GOP.

My Christianity, and my principles are not for sale, even if the candidate had an 'R' next to his name.
