I’m not stumping for Trump ...

I’m a Ted Cruz man, organizer of the very successful “Ted Cruz Florida Grassroots Leadership Conference” in Orlando on 18 July 2015 ...

It’s too bad that Scott Walker “knows” he can’t beat Yeb in Florida, and has quit the GOP Florida Primary ...

I hope that isn’t Walker “throwing a bone” to his buddy(with the $ 100 million) Yeb ...

Time will tell ...

When you’ve made 9 billion in business, you are NOT a simple “talk, talk, talk” guy ...

That is a good idea; show what the resulting package would look like rather than just the president.

(Carson) But sometimes he says things that I find troubling.

He should be in charge of dismantling Obamacare.

>>I expect no less from Trump. His choices will be top notch. He’s no fool. They will be the best of the best in their respective fields.<<

I wouldn’t bet on it. For starters, Trump’s “principles” are all over the lot. Just take his comment today about Pam Geller. No one really knows where Trump stands because Trump doesn’t even know for sure where he stands. He’s a businessman, not a politician, and he hasn’t necessarily settled on policy as a result.

But cabinet appointments are about policy. You’re choosing the person to implement your own policy. Anyone who claims that they will be satisfied with Trump’s appointments is bound to be blindsided by several of them, in my opinion, simply because Trump hasn’t yet figured out exactly who he wants to be. At nearly 70 years old, that speaks volumes...

In fact, of all the GOP candidates, he is the last one I would trust with a Supreme Court opinion. I would trust Jeb Bush before I’d trust Trump on that one, and Bush would be last without Trump. In fact, I hope he’s asked exactly that in the upcoming debate. His answer would be interesting, and revealing.

So, you’re claiming that Walker has removed his name from the Florida ballot, right?

Or are you just twisting his decision not to spend a lot of money competing in a winner-take-all primary that has two Floridians competing in must-win situations to make him sound like either a quitter, a supporter of Bush, or both?

It’s one or the other...

What does losing a close Senate election in 2006 have to do with Jim Talent’s ability to advise Walker on matters of national security?

Maybe its his strong conservative record that you don’t like.

How does four years in the Senate make him a national security expert?

Maybe its his strong conservative record that you don’t like.

Talent was a close Romney adviser in 2008 and 2012. In addition to losing to McCaskill I don't particularly like him because he isn't overly conservative.

Scott Walker's campaign has publicly stated (this past week) that they're skipping Florida ...

you clearly need to follow the news better ...

You obviously don't know Talent's congressional record very well since he spent four terms in the House of Representatives before that, and besides being a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, is currently a recognized expert in the threat posed by bio-terrorism.

So again, what's your beef with Jim Talent...besides the fact he's a strong conservative?

I follow the news just fine, thanks. Walker, at a private meeting, suggested he wasn’t going to COMPETE in Florida, i.e., not spend the money required to win their winner-take-all primary. Back in May he suggested he might skip the FL primary, but decided against that move in early June.

Again, are you suggesting he’s not on the ballot in the Florida primary?

Or something else?

He's not that strong a conservative.

Jim Talent has a 93 out of 100 lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union and 100% rating from National Right To Life Committee for his legislative record. He currently holds a fellowship at the Heritage Foundation and is the vice chairman of Commission on the Prevention of WMD Proliferation and Terrorism.

With credentials and accomplishments like that, you’d have to be either mentally challenged or intellectually dishonest to insist that Jim Talent not a strong conservative or is not qualified to advise a presidential candidate on matters of national security.

Perhaps you mis-understood me when I stated “college career”.
I should have written “he abandoned his college degree with credits short”. Yes, he abandoned completing his “college career and getting his college baccalaureate”.

Not completing this goal when it was within his grasp says a lot about how he would approach other things in his life.

It’s always been said “you are known by your friends or the company you keep” and “how you dress is anyone’s first impression of you” Have these two rules changed? and to think Walker has this hanging over his head-non completetion of a mere semester or two-even during the age of on-line learning and ease of access!
