Earth has more than 24 time zones and a different day exists on opposite sides of the International Date Line in the PAcific...

The discernment you have does not come from your own wisdom, but from the Holy Spirit.
The Tribulation is going to be soon. Really soon.
It is very, very interesting that the Jewish festival of the Feast of Trumpets said, in Hebrew and in Aramaic, that no one would "know the day of the hour." That is because the festival take 2 witnesses to observe the moon to let the people know when the festival actually takes place.
Jesus fulfilled many feasts during His first coming: Passover, First Fruits, and later, Pentecost.
The fall festivals have not yet been fulfilled. Look for the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement.
Or, if you are a Replacement Theology Catholic, then ignore everything, and be caught up in the coming Wrath and Chaos.
I love R.C Sproul - he is a brilliant man.
But, I disagree with him a very major point. He believes the Rapture will take place at the mid-Point of the Tribulation, or later, depending on how you take his words.
He is absolutely in error on this, and therefore, I take many of his other teachings with a grain of salt. If he can't get this one right, then he is in major error.

The Demand for a Sign
16 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a] 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.
The Yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees
5 When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. 6 “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
7 They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”

Address the issue of soon and quickly and the difference in the message. It is NOT about Sproul.
Your emphasis on “when” indicates the need to be in control and have secret knowledge. We are very clearly not told when, that is not the message. But it makes us feel good to think we have that secret knowledge.
I walk away very quickly from those who emphasize WHEN.
All that said, way back in Leviticus chapter 23 God defined His Times. They are known as the Feasts of Israel, but they are God's signs for all times. Jesus fulfilled the Spring 'feasts' on the day and times appointed BY GOD in Leviticus. It is 'likely' He will fulfill the Fall Times with such precision. But you need to know that even the devout Jewish scholars are not able to realign the Gregorian Calender precisely for sure tot he Times, the Feast days and hours, but they can get within a day or two of the precision desired.
Jesus is returning for His spiritual Church, the Body of Christ. THEN the world will watch for the beginning of the last week in Daniel's prophetic sabbatical weeks of years. The pause between week 69 and week seventy has been almost two thousand years. But regardless of how long the pause, God will not forget to fulfill the prophecies given to Daniel, of which Jesus spoke specifically with His disciples, James, John, Andrew and Peter the evening after He taught during the day in the Temple as recorded in Luke 21.
The Bible does issue a stern warning: 2 Peter 3
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Keep studying His Word, keep looking up. He is returning soon for His body, the Bride of Christ, to take us to where He has been preparing a place in the Father's House (John 14). He is coming to take us there for a while, then we'll be returning tot he Earth as part of an army fo Heaven, to crush anti-Christ and satan.
