AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do host. Get ready to what you were born to do listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
I noticed Walker quickly and concisely made his points, rarely if ever using his allotted time.
If you can find the video, Hannity show was very good. He post-interviewed most of the candidates.
Trump did the best he could to redeem himself. He had good responses to the questions Hannity asked about the Trump questions in the debate. It was a do-over for Trump, but few viewers saw it because a nauseous, self-congratulating Kelly Show preceded it

I didn’t notice that, but the article in #219 points out that very thing.
“According to Ostermeier, Walkers relative lack of air time was his own doing. He gave responses of less than 40 seconds six times and never exceeded 48 seconds for any of his remarks.”
Where was Mitch McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2012 to support Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock, or Christine O'Donnell in 2010?

Trump & JuanEBush top two...and noticeably more than the others.
It appears FOX was attacking Trump and giving JuanEBush more time to “strut his stuff”. It failed.

OMG... listen to this amazing black caller from Owings Mills, MD: William. He loves Rush so much, he’s crying.
Very emotional caller, but he’s making some good points.
"God bless you, Rush... and I love your heart..." ~ William from Owings Mills, Maryland.
Yes. He did.
SHEESH Rush-—Targeting Trump was the main FOX objective of the debate-—transparently so.
Megyn Kelly hinted at before and then explicitly stated after the debate that the PLEDGE QUESTION was asked to all but formulated to target Trump.
If I can find the video clip, I will post it.
It set the tone for the entire debate.
...And then the third or fourth question was the Trump misogyny question.
By that time, if not after the first question, it was clear to all conservatives what the primary FOX objective was.
The second objective was to entertain -— unlike the 5pm date, which was a more serious, substantive debate.
I don’t think it was the moderators’ job to “toughen” the candidates. On the contrary, this was the one debate in which the audience might expect to see brief, serious questions given to the candidates so they could make the best cases for themselves that they could. Having the moderators behave as though it was all about themselves, and trying to trip and “gotcha” the candidates, was inappropriate and annoying. All three should be ashamed of themselves, and I hope SOMEONE they respect says so, even if it’s only privately.
"Someone they respect"?
That's a tough thing to expect, since those media types usually don't have any real respect for anything/anybody but their own little self.
...I'll only wave gently in the direction of O'Reilly (don't have time or space to name 'em all) to prove that point.
I know O'Reilly's smug self-righteousness is impermeable, but I still hope some of the others are capable of being moved by honest criticism. C'mon, let me hold on to a few faded shreds of idealism!
Luntz is a fraud and his focus groups are nothing more than a carefully orchestrated group of stooges pulled together to drive public opinion not to reflect it.
Trump did respond to Huckabees closing during the debate....you could hear Trump say “Thank You.” after Huckabee says Hillary....LOL

Idealism....
Okay, go ahead. Don’t let an old cynic take that away from you.
...last time I remember having much of that idealism stuff must have been about ‘66.
