The Carter Center says former President Jimmy Carter has undergone a medical procedure to remove a small mass in his liver, and that he's expected to make a full recovery.

Unless it was a fast growing mass, he would likely have died from another cause in the future before this mass would have done him in.
He probably had an abnormal blood test or had abdominal pain, got a CT scan and it showed an abnormality in the liver.
No surgeon would operate on a 90 y.o. guy to take out a benign, "small" tumor. The risk-benefit calculation is not in the right direction.
My opinion is that what was removed was most likely malignant, either a liver cancer (hepatoma) or spread from somewhere else (like a colon cancer, which tends to spread to the liver).

He seems to believe that for-profit corporations should not be allowed to donate money to political action committees but that not-for-profit corporations (such as the AFL-CIO, the AFT, the UAW, etc.) should be unhindered. He was a bad president and an even worse ex-president.
I am certain Billy Carter is in Heaven. I am not so certain Jimmy Carter is destined to join him. After all, Jimmy is a sanctimonious, holier-than-thou type who believes that whatever he does is God’s will. I suspect God may question allowing the devil-worshippers in Teheran to raise to power after he pulled the rug out from under the Shah might have God introducing him to al-Lah a/k/a Satan before too long.
Whoever that doctor is (Obamacare writer), the age he hoped to die is 75.
I’m pretty sure Carter is much older than 75.
