Move to remove Boehner grows and may have the votes

If you, as will most people, just glance at the Elite Media's reporting of Rep. Mark Meadows move to oust John Boehner as Speaker you probably think he is a delusional nutcase and that the move has no chance of passing. Well, think again.

Breitbart.com reports that the reason the Meadows' resolution was not put on the floor for a vote was simply because they were not sure they had the votes to defeat it, meaning that they were afraid the resolution had enough votes to remove Boehner and declare the Speakership vacant. So they recessed for the summer.

Here's how Brietbart.com reported it: House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) had been planning to call up on the House floor last week a measure from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) that would have removed him as Speaker of the House if it succeeded—intending to embarrass Meadows—but abandoned the plan after his entire leadership structure learned that they did not have the votes to re-elect him as Speaker before the August recess.

"[House Majority Leader Kevin] McCarthy was making phone calls—he was whipping it—and so was [House Majority Whip]

" a senior conservative movement leader who's had many personal and direct discussions with various House GOP members about this told Breitbart News in an interview last week.

One can only hope.

Where, oh where, will the GOPe find a worse replacement?

Maybe they could draft Debbie Washerwoman-Shultz?

No matter the reasons, they still should remove him...

He's NOT doing the job, he's doing everything against our wishes...

People vote these people into office to represent US, not them, if they can't handle the pressure, then they shouldn't run or should be removed...he definitely should be removed....

Having the votes to remove him is one thing.

Having the votes to replace him with anyone who is any better is something else again.

Once they get rid of Bonehead, it will be telling who steps up and wants the job. But first things first. There is no way a dem will win with Rep majority, just a matter who has votes of the whole house.

Some commentators think he may have to cut a deal with Pelosi to hold on to power. The only problem with that is that he has nothing left to deal with — he already gives the Pelosi everything she wants.

When Pelosi was the speaker, she was a force to be reckoned with. Of course the media had her back.

Boehner is just a rubber stamp for the establishment. We need a leader, not an errand boy.

Exactly... even if Boehner is ousted they’ll just replace him with some dopey ‘moderate’ who constantly yammers about ‘bipartisan compromise’ and ‘reaching out across the aisle’.

I am completely done with the GOP.

If there isn’t anyone better than Boehner, then we need to really get serious about who we are voting for....

The GOP Leadership report card has all "O"s for Obama policy.

Levin was right, GOP election victories based on lies.

The whole House votes on the Speaker and if it comes down to it, the dems will save Little Johnny. After all, he’s a proven lying SOB, to the left of most dems, and advances the kenyan’s agenda - in short a dem operative in the GOP camp.
