Yep, it is right there to see for anyone who is remotely interested in the truth.

When are the American people going to wake up

Had this discussion with a couple of friends nearly a year ago.

Most people pay little or NO attention until the fire burns THEIR a$$.. which is normally how it goes down.

Simply put: They're up in arms only AFTER the horse is out of the barn.

Stupid is as stupid does. Thanks you Mrs. Gump.

Another perspective which you need to incorporate into your own.

WTF? I mean why even count anything if your not going to count food or fuel? OH, I know, you might vote against the incumbents, I get it.

Obama is an ignorant, lazy, stupid, mouthy but arrogant Liar, and the first thing he did was to start gimicking the numbers to cover up the disaster that he is.

The Second thing the next President needs to do is to order all agencies to revise the numbers using rational methods of measuring inflation and unemployment, then order all those new numbers to replace the fake ones Obama created.

The FIRST thing the next President needs to do is to order the Justice Department to prosecute anyone and everyone connected to Obama for anything and everything for which they can be prosecuted.

We need to roll up that entire pile of sh*t and throw the lot of them in Prison, including Obama.

When they say there is no inflation, or zero level inflation, what they mean is that there is no inflation OVERALL. IOW, although the prices of some things have indeed gone up, they are balanced (in their statistics) by the prices of other things going down.

I know of nothing for which the price has gone down. Even after all the breakthroughs in fracking technology and a drop in crude prices, gasoline still costs more than it did when that Lazy, Ignorant, Stupid, Mouthy and Arrogant Liar got into Office.

Of what do you know for which the price has declined?

They never run out of money for the parasites.

That's because, as a result of the 24th amendment, the parasite class is a crop which they farm for votes.

They bribe them with public money to encourage the parasites to keep them in office. It's a very clever system, and it was created by Lyndon Baines Johnson.

the package that once held 16 ounces now only holds 13 ounces.

I call that Obamasizing...there's hardly anything that hasn't been touched by this phenomena...

This is not new. Back in 1945 the woman who would become my first wife was hospitalized long-term. She took up knitting to pass the time. She eventually recovered and got a job. We were married in 1957, and she quit her job. She decided to complete some of her knitting projects. She bought the number of skeins of yarn stated in the instructions. They didn't hold enough yarn. In order to keep the price down, in the intervening 12 years the manufacturers had steadily reduced the amount of yarn in a skein.

Nor was the problem confined to yarn. Back in the 1960s Consumer Reports regularly complained about "skinny pints" (bottles that held only 15 1/2 oz instead of the full pints you used to get). Again, to disguise a price increase by decreasing the amount of product you get but at the same old price.

This is the winning statement. When they say there is no inflation, or zero level inflation, what they mean is that there is no inflation

Sorry this is not pin the tail on Obama. Food and Fuel has not counted in the inflation rate since the 80's.

It was wrong then and it is wrong now.

Cost of education is a monster in the closet

Fed backed loans supplies the money that was available that allowed the higher education places to keep increasing their income. A big circle. Now it has hit critical mass.

A couple of humongous deep pots right outside the back door, on the patio, is what I do. Especially for peppers and tomatoes, makes it easier to fertilize and water.

I cant believe it only takes half an hour to grow your own vegetables. There is considerably more to it than that.

The Fed does not count Food or Fuel

The official reason given is that those prices are "too volatile" to include in a price index. But we all know the real reason....

there should be absolutely no reason why a couple can work at medium wage jobs for 30-40 yrs and come out with a good home, and money in the bank, and vacations....

everything is being made to be out of reach of even people that work hard every single day....

Oh I know that only too well. I've worked hard, very hard, to the detriment of my health in fact, for the past thirty years - and in tech fields too. What have I to show for it? A crumbling house in need of thousands in repairs, no hope of advancement or promotion, no time or money to retrain. My pension is in decline, I have a mortgage that cannot be repaid. I havent had a vacation in ten years, I haven't had a pay rise thats matched inflation in fifteen. I haven't had any pay rise AT ALL in the last seven. Every month I go deeper into debt - and I lead a moderate life. I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol, I don't do drugs, I don't gamble or even run an automobile. Meanwhile governments pay ever more in Bread and Circuses to a permanent unemployed underclass, and corrupt crony capitalists award themselves massive bonuses every year for providing an awful service.

Oh yeah... the "recovery" is great.

Of what do you know for which the price has declined?

Probably the price of houses in some remote town, where the industry fled, has fallen somewhat. So that must be factored in, you know.
