We need the following: 1. H1-Bs granted based on salary instead of lottery 2. No chain migration 3. No amnesty 4. More H1-Bs 5. More investor visas 6. No "Dreamers"

We want the best and brightest from around the world to come here.

There will be a weigh in at the airport.

Along with a Laz "I'd hit it" final judgement?

“We want the best and brightest from around the world to come here.”

Best and brightest, yes.

More, no.

There must not only be a major shift on the type of immigrants we are importing, but a drastic reduction in the numbers.

We don’t need more HB-1 visas. Over half of all STEM graduates aren’t working in STEM, and relatively few of those upgraded to engineering management. And STEM graduate wages in most areas are flat or declining, whereas a real increase in wages would demonstrate growing demand.

At this point, we need a 10-year50-year old moratorium on any immigration at all

From 1924 to 1965 immigration into the United States was held to small numbers - 250,000 year - which were still higher then just about any country on the planet.

And assimilation was ruthless. Learn English and adopt the individualist, egalitarian Anglo-Protestant culture which made the country what it is.

And even then we got low lifes like the Kennedy's running around doing their level best to tear the country apart.

There should have never been a 1965 immigration act. Like Obamacare, it was sold with lies - truly brazen lies - and was based on hatred of the founding stock of the country.

Call it Revenge Immigration. No other country on Earth welcomes massive numbers of people from countries dedicated to destroying ours.

It's insane.

Americans used to have large families. The BS about Overpopulation and "replacement children" only was Marxist drivel designed to scare the American populace into suicide. The focus on homosexuality is not an accident either - it's part of the population control initiative of the anti-Americans.

When will we hear a politician talk about making it easier for the Americans to have large families again? The knee jerk chatter now is "we need more immigrants!" no matter what the topic.

People who say things like should be politely asked to leave for the immigrant sending craphole of their choice: clearly they prefer their company to us.

What evidence is there that the economy needs more H1-B visa workers?

The same 'evidence' as always; big dollar donors want more of them. That's the only 'evidence' all too many in Congress ever consider.

This could hurt our technical edge. Why should American kids go into STEM with flat or declining wages?

We don’t need 1.1 million LEGAL PERMANENT IMMIGRANTS A YEAR or 640,000 guest workers annually.

The employers lie about their needs. In Prince Georges County outside DC, 10% of their teachers came from the Philippines on H-1B visas. Why? Cheaper.

Thanks. I think I’ll write my senator (Sessions) about how the employees at Disney and Con Ed could be replaced by H1-Bs. That shouldn’t even be possible based on what the PR about the H1-B program tells us (only if no qualified American can be found).

It doesn’t work, I’ve been there and done that. I retired early because the work atmosphere was so hostile. When the foreigners replaced the Americans, my jobs were no longer fun.

The wrong immigrants come here only for American money. The right ones come for family ties with Americans and to become Americans.

You criticize those who com here for American money. Perhaps you need to understand that one someone earns money in a capitalist system it usually provides their employer, and the USA, with even greater benefits. If it didn’t the person would lose their job. One wouldn’t want to sound like a socialist.

H-1B ping. Let me know if you're not on the list and want to be added (or are and want to be removed).
