"When the next great depression sets in, will it really matter if the guy at the soup kitchen serving you a bowl of slop doesn’t get your morality stamp of approval?"

So in other words, you don't have a problem with queers. Got it.

I liked what Trump said to Kelly. I think Hume, Kelly, and Fox are in the bag for the GOPe.

Trump has never had a drink in his life. Not one.

Didn't know that about him. Neither have I.

We should be able to “like” a comment here on FR and have the option sharing it on Facebook. Why not?

“Carly will be on this stage best time. She will be the Veep, especially if Hillary crashes and burns.”

Are you aware of iCarly’s participation with the Clnton Global Initiative?

Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Walker and Fiorina demonstrated to me high intellect and the ability to lead. That says nothing about their conservatism but it is indicative of their ability to win.

Great observations. I feel similar. I have no dog yet, but a few I am hopeful can rise to this challenge.

I think your five are the ones who did well. Kasich did as well. I think his medicaid expansion and reasoning is horrific, but beyond that he's a good retail politician and more conservative than not. He made a political decision in his first term to expand medicaid in a blue-trending state, and then draped in religion as a justification. It's a pathetic as Rubio's immigration snow job a couple years back. That said, I like both men and both are talented and with more than not. I will give credit to both for doing a good job. Christie got blown out in his battle with Paul, but otherwise, I remembered tonight why I used to like him a lot.

Overall, the guys did pretty good in a crappy format. I think your five and Kasich all demonstrated good moments and overall strength. Cruz got screwed with time by the Fox News team that bends over backwards to pretend like he's not in the race. It's a clear directive some someone in the GOP hierarchy, and with that treatment on a big stage where he had no time to show more to the average voter, he's going to have to do something big to get the attention and show himself to be the man for the job.

My two 75+ year old parents, who are lifetime evangelical Republicans, thought that that debate was one of the most upbeat, entertaining debates they had ever seen. They thought it was great, and that everybody did fine.

The energy disparity between passionate, small-r republican ideals and Hillary Clinton, stale, corrupt, same-old-same-old establishment emptiness is palpable.

Everybody was acting drunk at the end, and Huckabee's joke about Hillary (instead of Trump) was PERFECT.

The parents are fired up. That's good news. I think this eclectic Republican field will capture the imagination of the country. Good luck topping that, Democrats.

I just think that Hillary couldn't be a worse choice for the Democrats in 2016. Aside from the fact that she's a woman, she brings absolutely nothing substantive to the table, aside from the substantial cronyism and blatant corruption.

Hume is saying that Trump got testy with Megyn Kelly?! Seriously?—it was the other way around.

But Fox will endlessly run with Hume's meme to the point he will be believed by almost everyone by the time of the next debate. That's what the MSM does.

Trump didn’t step his game up tonight.....this was a great opportunity to do so.....he will still be great at knocking the “idiots” etc. but I was disappointed he didn’t give better specifics......which lends me to think he has a purpose but it’s not to seize the Presidency.
