More women do not like *her* because they perceive her as being prettier than they are, than “won’t like Trump.”

Then women need their glasses checked or their self esteem worked on because she ain’t all that. She has a face shaped like a mans in drag and a decent body.

I’m not agreeing with him. He should call you that, however, in 2016, I’m voting for a fiscal conservative...Yes, I’m not that conservative socially (I go to church when we - wife and I - feel like it) and we have homosexual friends. Do we agree on everything, no, but we are friends.

If the person is not a conservative I will vote for a 3rd party if he is conservative, or stay home

I did notice that. And I liked how he pointed out that he had operated on babies within the womb.

You’re right...it amazed me how many people wanted that woman murdered and were glad to cheer it on.

You’re pretty close to retarded, supporting a lifelong, silver spoon, east coast elitist statist like The Donald and accusing somebody else of supporting Romney! I vote for conservatives exclusively. You can support big government Trump, not me.

Luntz said to look for Cruz and Huck to move up.
Cruz had second highest dial, almost as high as Huck’s.

I’m never really liked Trump, but even I saw the hit job Fox started out at the very beginning.

When Trump raised his hand on the first question, the follow-up should have been something like “Is there a candidate or position on this stage you wouldn’t support”?

Also on the bankruptcy questions, all Trump should have said is in Business you take risks because that’s the part of entrepeneurship, but not in Gov’t. That would’ve squashed that issue.

It didn’t help about giving money to everyone and “expect a favor”. Trump defined what a lobbyist is. Throw some money and gets what he wants. Another candidate could have picked up on that, but didn’t.

Overall,
Bush sucked. and Trump will go down as a result as it becomes clear that Trump’s not needed to stop the GOPe.

Carson impressed.

Huckabee stole Ted Cruz’s answers and delivery. I was pissed because Cruz got a couple early questions in the first hour, then disappeared until almost the end, but every answer was solid.

I thought Walker did fine. Of all the candidates, Cruz and Walker looked the most Presidential.

Rand may not be at the next debate. He style just isn’t the right fit and the confrontations with the other won’t help him.

Rubio was ok. Talks very fast and you can tell he’s not as confident as Cruz.

Overall
First Tier Winners: Cruz, Carson, Huckabee, Walker
Second Tier (OK): Rubio, Christie
Third Tier (Meh): Kasich, Trump
Awful: Bush, Paul

“He was asked for proof of his assertion that Mexico was sending their worst and dimmest. He had no answer. That pisses me off because he is right but he could not take the time to document his assertion. It is Trumps arrogance overwhelming his correct take on the illegal issue.”

He was TOLD he had 30 seconds and wouldn’t it be a good time to present PROOF....well what’s he supposed to do in 30 seconds? That was a total set up.

Solid, but unmemorable.

We should all keep in mind that these same Fox geniuses who are saying Trump hurt himself tonight thought he’d destroyed himself with his McCain remarks.

>>>Cruz was infinitely better than Trump so what does that say about Drudge’s poll?<<<

Off the top of my head, I think it says that People were pissed about The Fox News Commentators conspiring to take Trump out with their obvious attack questions.

They also shortchanged Cruz and it was just as obvious.
He is the sharpest tool in the shed and they know it.

Trump could have upped his game and really handled those without getting testy...this was not the time nor place to do so

That was my position going with the debate, but in my wildest imagination I never expected Fox to stage this debate as a series of 30 second cage fights between the candidates.

Nobody was given an opportunity to plainly state their positions and then let the other candidates question those positions. The Fox moderators twisted other candidates' statements and then asked the candidate to state what was wrong with it. Not even what they might have agreed with.

It was set up to make EVERYONE look bad.

Trump is a statist and his supporters are goofy cult of personality types that often bring us people like Obama.

Trump is not a statist, but a mercantilist. However, he knows that debt cannot be increased forever without disaster; neither can trade deficits.

And he knows that a nation which cannot defend its border from infiltration, or from conventional attack, let alone nukes, is not a good place to continue making money.

He started out a multimillionaire, true; but he didn't become a spoiled drunk trust fund kid like Ted Kennedy; he didn't think himself bigger than God like so many Silicon Valley and Tech whiz kid types.

He is obviously not used to making cause with the Christian right; the very way he spoke of Christians getting beheaded in the Middle East differs from how Dr. Carson would have said it; but if he will follow through on his promises of aligning with us (as opposed to Yertle the Turtle McConnell and weepy Boner), if he will attack Obama and Hillary rather than saying *at a campaign rally* "you have nothing to fear of this man as President" as McCain did, ...it's a good start.

Or, he might be an opportunistic lying weasel. But Carson and Walker are coming across as too soft-spoken to win; Jindal has the chops but looks small, and is an openly outspoken Christian which the left will mercilessly attack him for.

So far, by their rhetoric / electability, it looks like Cruz, Trump, or Fiorina, with Jeb and Walker the 2nd tier.

It's a shame only 2 of the 5 are genuine conservatives.
