Sen. Cruz also discusses tonight’s debate with Sean Hannity

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Following tonight’s Republican presidential debate on Fox News, Frank Luntz conducted a focus group on the Kelly File where he noted that the result was “great news for Ted Cruz.” The video of the segment is available here:

Also this evening, Sen. Cruz joined Sean Hannity to give his reaction to tonight’s debate where he discussed why he believes the 2016 presidential election could be much like the Reagan Revolution of 1980. Video is available here:

I wouldn’t believe Luntz if he told me today was Friday.

Luntz has been outed as a leftist tool.

Thus he is irrelevant.

Funny, all the Trump supporter called the focus group a plant for the insiders, yet the group thought the man running as the biggest outsider won??????

Also, did you notice when Wallace asked a long question of Cruz and mentioned that Cruz called McConnell a liar, the audience cheered- they cheered because they agree he is a liar. The look on Wallace's face was priceless.

Luntz’s first question to his “focus group” should have been “Do I need a new hairpiece?”

What a phoney.

Luntz gets on my nerves and he really needs to do something with that horrible rug on the top of his head.

The high point in the debate for me.

Priceless indeed.

OK ... so you don’t like Lutz, that’s fine ...

Please provide a (somewhat technical) argument against the video shown on this thread, and his methods, and conclusions ...

Frankly, as an aerospace mechanical engineer obsessed with history and politics, I think that Lutz’s methods (and hence conclusions) appear to be sound ...

Well, he can’t be believed....Trump called him names, and said he is essentially worthless.

His focus group is filled with liars...

That is what we were told last night at least...

Go Cruz!!!

Lutz is a cloying annoying full-of-himself guy much like the Leprechaun (Bill O’Reilley). But like BOR, he appears to know his stuff.

I think all Cruz has to do to break out is to survive long enough to make it into the elite eight. I am guessing that is about what the field will be winnowed to by the time they caucus in Iowa.

Er, no. I Tweeted the debate from minute one. Cruz was slow out of the gate, then Fox ignored him for about 20 minutes. He came on VERY strong at the end, esp. "what I'd do on my first day," but it was too little too late.

Oh, and memo to Cruz, Paul, and Rubio: NEVER say "I sponsored legislation . . ." This comes across totally as "inside DC" and "the system is broken" and by inference, they're helping to break the system." It has to be phrased another way.

Hand-picked audience of a so-called cross-section of citizens. I saw a single-mindedness approach in the group proving they were selected to present a vision. Imagery is everything these days since so few read anything any more.

I love how Trump told Luntz via Twitter “don’t come around my office looking for business again”. Damn straight!

I haven't seen a breakdown of how many minutes each candidate got. I too thought Cruz wasn't getting his fair share of questions. I'm sure someone out there was keeping a time clock.

And in the after-debate when Kelly was quizzing about how the candidates did, she mentioned everyone BUT Cruz.

Yes, I'm a Cruz supporter all the way.

:-)

Cruz or lose...

Regardless if you like Luntz or not, it the group was truly honest, then it bodes well for Ted.
