Nonetheless he is useful for crushing all of the amnesty proponents.

He's for an over-and-back expedited amnesty.

I’ll help you out.

Trump fights and stands up for himself.

Your preferred “true conservative” isn’t electrifying people and would wilt at the attacks Trump gets.

Worry less about Trump and start getting the person you support to start acting like him.

LOVE these threads! Makes knowing who the GOPees are a lot easier! Thanks!

And there you have it from a Trump supporter.

If you criticize Trump, you must be GOP-E.

A lot of the supporters (not all obviously) are election season FReepers. They may have sign up dates even before my 13 years but they go for years without posting only to become regular primary season FReepers.

They claim to support conservatives but eventually find some reason to be “concerned” about the candidate. As that candidate is destroyed they move on to the next and repeat the process. Eventually when there is nothing but a RINO left they regretfully announce that we gave it a good try but have no choice but to support our legitimately chosen candidate. Then they disappear for another 4 years.

I wish there was a program for spotting them. I suspect it would be very interesting.

Fact is Trump doesn’t go far enough. Beside all the other factors mentioned in previous postings on this subject;

In “countries such as Mexico where an American citizen decides to be a “legal” emigree never mind being a seasonal visitor.

They are denied voting privledges. Ownership of land in their own name, and selected access to government services.

Worse if entering that country illegaly. Then face steep fines and jail time before getting kicked out. Beside being denied use of government services, including; income and energy subsistance, food stamps, or bringing in family members, or getting a lawyer at government expence.

When Trump announces he doesn’t believe we should not allow any such full citizenship privledges to illegals who are from countries such as Mexico that deny to a legal American immigrant full citizenship privledges.

That those “Dreamers” who were given this unconstitutional bypassed federal laws treatment entrance by INS who miss their INS hearing be deported fortwith and denied re-entry. also apply to any illegal convicted of a felony.

And announces he supports reciprocal citizenship requirements. Then gets accused of being racist I’ll believe in him when he “eats his cracker” then asks God for forgiveness./s...

Wow, you really are thick, aren’t you?

Read the posts, Hen. Once it was pointed out it was a duplicate thread, I apologized and asked the moderators to pull it.

Wow, you really aren’t smart, are you?

Yours is a popular scenario on FR but here’s why it has little chance of coming true. First, the country is a very different place than it was 35 years ago when Reagan was elected - you only need to look around to realize not only how different it is, but how upside-down, inside-out dramatically different, especially in terms of values, ethics, and style. As much as some may hope for a return to the good old days, we know it never happens.

Secondly, it is not in Donald Trump’s nature to “drop out” of anything. As long as he’s convinced it’s worth spending his own money to continue - why would he? Inability to raise money is the #1 reason candidates drop out.

Finally, it’s a pretty big leap to assume that all those favoring Trump would automatically go to Cruz.

I'm supporting Cruz but am amazed by those who think berating & mau-mauing people with whom they disagree is an effective way to get them to see your point of view. Happens every election time around here.

Trump has been tremendously entertaining and has the establishments in both parties apoplectic. Thats a good thing.

Why does saying so seem to get some folks shorts in such a bunch?

"If you criticize Trump, you must be GOP-E.

Other then Cruz, who I have my doubts about, the entire field is GOPe except for Trump. So yeah, if you attack Trump, you must be GOP-E. Please notice I changed criticize to attack. I criticize Trump all the time, but I don't attack him.

Yet ANOTHER Salem Communications site slamming Trump — along with RedState and Twitchy, which have been assaulting him 110% since the innocuous “blood” comment. These people are with the GOPe, as is Erickson.

He terrifies the enemy. The friend of your enemy is not your friend. The enemy of your enemy, is.

Some people have so much imagined smarts they keep common sense in a storage shed.

"The analogy I like is that Trump is the honey badger candidate. He has nothing to lose, plenty to gain and to quote the video...honey badger doesn’t give a s-—. And here’s the kicker: the people who support his candidacy don’t really give a s-— either. They’re the politically disenfranchised working and middle class. They have nothing to lose by supporting someone whose inclination is to burn the current political establishment to the ground.

I especially like the "burn the current political establishment to the ground" part.

Trump is the worst guy ever, until you just four names, Dole, Bush, McCain, and Romney.

Trump's name at the end of that list would just be a continuation.
