Romney didn’t win Iowa, Santorum did. He was announced the winner, but the Paul people (who were keeping their own records at the caucuses) called Romney out. It took a few months to clean up, by which time Santorum was done.
That is why I don’t think it matters who you vote for. I saw this happen.
True, but Santorum’s vote total in Iowa, SC and New Hampshire combined was far less than Newt’s “margin of victory in SC.
We must get away with this “one to one” mind set of “states.” A tiny state caucus with just a couple tens of thousands of voters is NOT NOT NOT NOT the same as a primary with many hundreds of thousands - or millions - of voters. Not when you’re trying to really figure out who can mobilized a country.
And I think you would be totally incorrect.
VP perhaps Fiorina for diversity: No
Carson is Surgeon General: OK
Trump at Commerce : should be given a bigger prize
Ann Coulter as Sec State : Why?
Ping, just in case you haven’t seen this yet.
Ann Coulter as Sec State : Why?
Trump sucked all the air out of the womb.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
OTOH, their snarky remarks brings out the real person which helps in the elimination process. Carly tried to insert herself into the fiasco which put her at the bottom of my list. So, fine, keep it up, fools, so we won’t have to have another children’s table to contend with.
I would go with Cruz/Bush if it would keep the party together. We get our Conservative in the White House, the political whores in the GOPe get their token Republican as VP and Presidential candidate 8 years down the road and we destroy the rats.
I know no one here, especially me wants Bush within 1000 miles of Washington, but that may just be the compromise that gets us over the top.
Worked for Reagan in 1980.
Correct. Iowa is a good starting place because of its demographics and small size. Much easier for the small guys to campaign. I do miss Nebraska, were the Dem presidential candidates never bothered to visit. Here in Iowa, I had to skip lunch because Hillary was having a rally down town and I couldn’t get out.
Actually, I mixed up my “Bloody Megyn” drink last night with half a cup of chocolate milk, a little Sangria soft drink and a bit of red soda and it was good! lol She will always have that moniker whether she likes it or not and deserves it for attacking Trump the way she did. More than likely she’ll use more caution when dealing with him in the future. I know I would make sure I had something valid to say to him before I opened my mouth.
It will certainly take help from the Lord to get Ted elected. He is the best candidate but money is always the determining factor in US politics. Trump even admitted during the debate that he gave money to politicians and expected favors in return. Isn’t this what is wrong with our government in the first place? Why is it that two candidates who no one wants, Hillary and Jeb, have the most money?
This is a smart political move by Ted. But then Ted is a pretty sharp guy. That’s one of the reasons why I like him. :)
Although what he's saying here is simple common sense.
Yes, I meant a Bloody Megyn, not Megyn’s blood. LOL. It actually sounds very tasty.
It is. Mix it like I mentioned and you'll be pleasantly surprised. lol
