The 'Daily Show's' New Host: Worse than Jon Stewart?

I've been warning my friends for years that Jon Stewart is not a journalist, and now that he has left the "Daily Show”, it turns out that he wasn't even a comedian really, but a very influential player for liberalism.

It's been discovered that Stewart has had several secret meetings with President Obama concerning how Obama can get his message of liberalism through to Millennials (my generation), via the "Daily Show”. Obama actually called Jon Stewart to the White House to discuss this strategy numerous times.

Pretty sure there aren't too many FReepers that watched the show but from the lamentations of some of my more left leaning acquaintances, you would think his departure is close to the collapse of civilization. So, his replacement is even worse? Pretty high bar from what I hear. I've never seen the show myself and have only read short narratives about his mewling over the lyin' king but apparently they were "tight" and he used his smarmy sarcastic screed to sway the IPOS/LPOS/SPOS/UPOS into believing all sorts of BS. Ignorance abounds. Sadly.

Like I said, some of my left leaning acquaintances usually use him to get their “facts”. And, there ain’t no changing their minds cause “#factsdontmatter”. I used to get all my pertinent news from Johnny Carson and co-anchor Ed McMahon. :>}

Jon Stewart last show had 7 times fewer viewers then a republican debate on a cable channel! This for a guy who was “revered” and was quoted thru-out his time on that show yet no one hardly watched his last show.

He was all hat and no comedy but he was a joke.
