The Real Truth on What Donald Trump Said About Planned Parenthood
CNN | Vanity

Posted on 08/11/2015 8:50:29 AM PDT by ElainaVer

For all those who are listening to Sound Bites on what Donald Trump said on CNN this morning . . here is the truth of his position: "“The problem that I have with Planned Parenthood is the abortion situation. It is like an abortion factory, frankly,” Trump said. “And you can’t have it. And you just shouldn’t be funding it. That should not be funded by the government, and I feel strongly about that.”

When pressed on non-abortion services Planned Parenthood allegedly provides, Trump said, “What I would do when the time came, I’d look at the individual things they do, and maybe some of the individual things they do are good. I know a lot of the things are bad. But certainly the abortion aspect of it should not be funded by government, absolutely.”

Trump continued, “I would look at the good aspects of [Planned Parenthood], and I would also look, because I’m sure they do some things properly and good and that are good for women, and I would look at that, and I would look at other aspects also. But we have to take care of women.”

Your right, its not. As for scamming, it is usually Trump doing the scamming. Ask a legion of contractors who Trump has ripped off over the years by not paying what he contractually agreed to. His modus operendi is to tell the contractor is only paying 50 cents on the dollar, after the work has been completed, and if you don’t like it, sue him. He will tell you he has an army of lawyers to fight on for years. I exist in this man’s world, and he has no honor.

Nope.

Can’t just fill up the shallow end.

That’s like saying we’ll give billions to Iran and they won’t build nukes with it.

Of course they will.

He thinks there are “good aspects” to PP.... that’s insane. All they do is abortion, that is their only thing.

We have bumped heads in the past, but on this Trump issue you have been killing it. Keep it up. Outstanding.

I’m not on the media’s side. I’m on Cruz’s side. Cruz or lose.

Trump will implode. Hopefully you’ll then come to your senses and feel shame for having been among his biggest fanboys.

What else do they do but abortion...

oh right, they go into public schools and encourage kids to have risky sex!

Trump would fund that, I guess.

They hand out pamphlets to yutes with AIDS telling them they have a right (a RIGHT) to spread their disease without informing their partners.

Wanna fund that too.... maybe he does

The evil inherent with funding any part of PP is that money is fungible. PP should not receive one dime of taxpayers money for any reason. Trump knows that. He should have said it.

Apparently so do the Republicans that control Congress. Why the double standard? Trump has no power or authority to end the funding. You expect him to go against Republican policies?

Trump will implode.

I don't know about that. If he was going to do so, he would have done so already. I think it's going to be funny to watch the "Trump is going to implode" crowd on inauguration day, as Trump is being sworn in. Kinda like Karl "Romney can still win this" Rove. Lol. Birds of a GOPe RINO feather flock together!

uhhhh....what he said is "maybe some of the things they do are good". You're twisting words again.

What is your problem? Can't you share in the joy that the elite in both political parties who have destroyed the US are now facing mad-as-hell-voters who feel empowered? Can't you agree that the number 1 priority is putting an end to Jeb's campaign?

While I've been a staunch Cruz supporter, the fact is I would be ok with him bowing out at this point, getting behind Trump and Trump announcing Cruz as his VP pick.

Chances of that are about zero. If we lose Cruz, we lose.

I know trump's fighting the establishment and I'm all for that but if you bring in Don Corleone to take care of the bully who's pushing you around, you'll owe the Don. I want Trump to clear the field for Cruz or Carson but as President? only as a last resort.

Of course he’ll implode. His campaign is all sound and fury and no substance. He riles up light-minded people with his blather and offense, but that’s all he’s got. Once people see what he stands for, rather than being hypnotized by his speaking style, they’ll come to their senses and go with the real, proven conservative in the race, Cruz.

Trump said Planned Parenthood was an abortion factory and you can’t get any stronger than that.

There are no non-abortion services. Everything they do is related to abortion.

If true conservative means globalist, Goldmans Sachs loving business as usual, I can’t vote for that.

You have grasped the essential truth.

The GOPe, is right now, funding Planned Parenthood and Obamacare. McConnell has said that there will be no vote to defund Planned Parenthood. There have been, and will be, show votes to trot out when election time comes, but no action, no use of the power of the purse, just theater.

What is there to lose by supporting Trump? If he loses, we get government funded abortion, no matter if it’s with gusto and a thumbs up from a DemocRat or with a bunch of GOPe rhetoric about how bad it is and how it’s got to change...after the next election.

Trump might do something different. He might screw it up. However, the Uniparty won’t touch it.

What Trump said is that he’s against government funding of abortions, and he’s willing to look at the good things PP does.

Frankly, if Trump was looking to pick up disaffected libtards who have been horrified by what has been revealed in those videos, his statements give them a face saving way to vote Trump.

Yeah, I’d be more comfortable with a more conservative outsider, like Cruz or Carson. The problem is, that with no Trump in the race, the GOPe guns would be turned on Cruz and Carson. Right now they are too busy having a conniption about Trump.

I want Trump stirring things up for as long as possible. Maybe there will be a miracle that leads to President Cruz, but not without a Trump to rock the boat. Both major parties are more concerned about perpetuating party power than what’s good for the country.

How has that worked out for us?

That is the kind of statement that drives people away from considering supporting Trump.

Trump is not a conservative. - Only a fool would hear that and think the speaker or writer is leftist.
