people have given up their views on abortion so they could remain devoted to trump. people have given up their views on gay marriage so they could remain devoted to trump. people have given up their views on gun control so they could remain devoted to trump. denying God so they could remain devoted to donald trump is simply the next link in the chain Thanks for your post (and previous links to his quotes on prayer/forgiveness). Do you have a link perchance on Trump flip-flopping on the gay marriage issue. I can't seem to get google ("Startpage" which searches google without giving info to them) to give me a good bite on the subject.

The infiltrating contingency of liberal left has yet another false god.
Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem.http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3322350/posts
CNN ANDERSON COOPER GRILLS DONALD TRUMP ON HIS FAITH - JULY 22, 2015https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFH1ghoMmg0
After 46 seconds, Donald Trump said the following in answer to the question about repentance.
https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=46s
"Well, I, I like to work where I don't really have to ask for...I like to do the right thing where I don't have to actually ask for forgiveness, does that make sense to you, you know, where you don't make such bad things, that you don't have to ask for forgiveness, I mean, I try and lead a life where I don't have to ask G[-]d for forgiveness..."
After 1 minute, 20 seconds,...
https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=1m20s
"Well, I try not to make mistakes, where I have to ask for forgiveness, for one thing. So when I'm asked a question like that, it's like, you know, I don't like to make a lot of mistakes
After 1 minute, 52 seconds,...
https://youtu.be/IFH1ghoMmg0?t=1m52s
"Why do I have to ask for forgiveness, if you're not making mistakes, I work hard, I'm an honorable person, I have thousands of people that work for me, I've employed tens of thousands of people over the years..."

But did he say he forgives himself which was the allegation by GeronL. Asked and answered up thread.

Well, a cult implies mindless allegiance. I like the fact that Trump fights. But I'm not a fan. Interestingly, I note the same behavior coming from the GOPe camp, given the rocks they've thrown at Trump, including half-naked judgments on his saying (without proof) that he asks himself for forgiveness...
There's a whole lot of stone-throwing going on from both sides of the debate, and from what I have read from even the more "righteous" among us, nobody seems to be all that wonderful- not to mention objective.

It’s interesting you bring up the otherwise boring Presidential race. That is absolutely the first thing I thought of when I heard Trump might run. I didn’t think he would have a chance or even if I would be for him. But after how I saw Trump go unflinchingly after Obama like no one else did about the BC thing, I thought, “Well at least he will liven up the debates. They might even be worth watching, if not for the substance, at least for the entertaining value.”

I’ve always thought it interesting that the thief on the cross was forgiven by Christ and taken to Paradise, when:
1. He didn’t confess his sins or ask forgiveness.
2. He didn’t “walk the sawdust trail”.
3. He didn’t demur and refuse to respond through 5 stanzas of Just As I Am.
4. He didn’t raise his hand and/or repeat the “sinner’s prayer”.
According to the Scripture, BOTH thieves initially railed on Jesus and mocked Him, because the plural is used..
5. But, the one thief apparently came to his senses and cried out to Christ, “Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Christ replied, “Today you will be with me in Parsdise.” OTOH, The Donald takes Communion whenever possible. The Lord, through the Apostle Paul said in 1st Corinthians 11, that “...as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do show forth the Lord’s death until He comes back.” That indicates to me a faith a mite bigger than a mustard seed; since some people want to split hairs.
One thing we need to remember. Christ said that a teeny tiny little bit of faith, no bigger than a mustard seed, could move a mountain. I’m certain He’s more interested in saving souls than He is in moving mountains, per se. He said, “The Son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost.” So He is definitely aiming to get us INTO Heaven; not trying to keep us out. And that includes His choice servant, The Donald.
I very happily believe that the Lord is using, and intends to continue using Donald Trump to salvage America. I also believe He’s preparing Teddy Cruz’s heart to say YES when Trump offers him the Veep gig.

What’s funny is I’ve just finished reading and studying that story as I’m reading whole book of Daniel for no other reason than it was the next part of the Bible for me to read. God works best for me when I’m just going along...

Well said, and I totally agree. God will have His way, regardless of our arguments. My hope is that if God uses Trump in this way- whether he wins the election or not- the result will be the destruction of both established parties, the exposure ans inescapable prosecution of corruption, and the return of our government to the people and to obedience to God.

Did you say, “parlay”?
Yes, and if Trump invokes “PARLEY”, then that right there should get Trump straight to the Captain without molestation...

The qualities he is speaking about is having no fear, standing up for what you believe in.
Christians have been cowtowed into a corner by the left and the media like Israel was when Goliath defied the armies of Israel and the God of Israel.
Whether anyone likes or supports Donald Trump, he is a champion.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, Trump shall become My trumpet to the American people, for he possesses qualities that are even hard to find in My people these days. Whether this guy heard from God or not, I don't know, but i do find it hard to argue with that point considering the state of Christendom in the USA these days.

People who claim to hear from God and have *prophetic utterances* tend to talk like that.
They all sound the same and it’s a bit too hokey for me to believe that it’s the Holy Spirit.
