When that beautiful women becomes a prissy and bitchy Prima Donna, it's a huge turn off besides it was obvious she was setting up Trump with outrageous questions trying to make it all about her...
I think she learned a hard lesson here, which will hopefully make her a better quasi-journalist...

My guess she was offended she did what she was told to do but not supported. What she did not know was at the end of the day, it all comes down to ratings. She might get good ratings but The Donald is getting far better and will carry the networks to record profits.
She will be back and nothing further will happen till they find a way to switch spots with someone else. It must have really galled her that Hannity was given the Trump interview, Hannity a guy she pushed out of the 9PM slot! She got gots and will not be given the time of day by Trump.

No, I don't think so. Ailes still considers her hot property, and wants to protect that investment. That's why he made that quick call to Trump to get him to turn off the flame thrower. And even then, Kelley obviously did not want to back off herself, and instead, delivered that snitty "not apologizing for good journalism" statement Monday night. That's probably when Ailes told her to take some time off, for her own good, of course.

However, if she said that she'll be going on vacation starting this coming Monday, that's one thing, but if she said she's leaving immediately, that's a little odd to say the least. (Bill O'Reilly is on vacation this week, but he announced that beforehand. He didn't leave abruptly in the middle of the week.)
