More like disgusted.

You can be fed up without being angry.

But just as it's always somebody else who hates, it's always somebody else who is angry. Very few people are willing to characterize themselves in that way.

I’m not angry. It’s just that the GOPe has openly declared war on conservatives and now I want their heads on pikes so I can better concentrate on the leftists in the Democrat party.

Although low-information patriots deserve much of the blame for the Washington cartel for failing to replace every member of the corrupt, unconstitutionally powerful, post-17th Amendment ratification Senate after three election cycles, the Senate still short of the 2/3 majority required to remove a House-impeached Obama from office, please consider the following.

With all due respect to the family and fans of the late John Wayne, I think that after 6+ years of concerned citizens having to put with the deaf ears of the corrupt Washington cartel, the cartel deserves to feel threatened by a “John Wayne” type presidential candidate like Trump.

Yes, there’s a sizable segment of enraged voters in the GOP — and on the left, for that matter.

REALLY, does the left have anything else going for it anymore?

From what I have seen Trump is a one issue candidate and the author is right his main appeal is emotional.

Illegal immigration does hit a nerve. But it is not the only issue that the Republican Party needs to deal with.

Then we have to deal with the problem that Trump is not a conservative and that he was not always anti-illegal. He has been a big Democrat donor and specifically a big Clinton donor.

Trump is not a natural conservative and he should not be the Republican candidate and from my observation of him over the years he is a better fit in the Democrat Party.

I think it is great that Trump is making illegals a major issue in the news but it is not the single issue that is going to win the presidency. The last time that a single issue won that presidncy that I can think of is 1860.

For decades all I’ve read is how angry the Left is - angry, seething, enraged, etc., as a justification for righteousness. Now though, being angry is suddenly an epithet for insanity, because conservatives are the ones who are angry.

Screw the hypocritical Left - buncha lying, manipulative bastards.

Looks like the article is trying to convince us that what drives us isn’t what really drives us - it’s all a case of us not understanding what pisses us off and if we come to our senses we will start ignoring what we consider to be our core values and principles. I guess the guy took a psychology class sometime in the past and decided to see if he could pop a pellet to the “test subjects” to try to make them toe the line he would have us toe.
