Prayers for Diver Dave’s family and loved ones.
Dave and I were born the same year and we were in the navy at the same time. I was on destroyers and he was on a destroyer tender, the USS Piedmont. We didn’t know each other back them, but sailed the same seas at the same time and I know we tied up alongside the Piedmont on more than one occasion. He was very proud of his service and was a devoted Christian family man and patriot.
He will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace, dear shipmate.
Dive Dave would love all these references to his service in the Navy. He was so proud of of his country and of being a Navy veteran.
I will always remember him as a good, good man. He inspired me to be a better person, a better Christian. I will miss him. My heart goes out to his wife and daughters and their families. May God comfort them.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Diver Dave.
He was a joy to be around, I saw him at many Free Republic picnics back in the day and he was as involved as he could be when Tea Party Express tours and rallies were around the Fresno area.
He would rush to freeway overpasses to help cheer us on in our quest to bring Constitutional Republic types into leadership positions.
