Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits haven’t been non-taxable in many years. Also, with the exception of one state, EMPLOYERS pay the taxes that go into UI, not the employees.

If you think employers pay for an any employee related expense or benefit, I have a really nice bridge in the south part of Manhattan Island I'd love you to meet with my realtor to have a look at...
