GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump reminds us about deserter Bowe Bergdahl, who the president traded for several prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.
CHRIS HAYES, MSNBC: Just so we're clear here, Sergeant Bergdahl is not being prosecuted for treason, he is prosecuted for desertion. The Army prosecutor is planning on presenting no evidence that six people died in looking for Sergeant Bergdahl.

Agreed. But I think Trump ought not to be saying such things — because if he is elected POTUS, Bergdahl’s lawyers might have good grounds for an appeal, on the basis of something like command influence.
Is he still collecting royalty checks for his Pajama Boy pictures?
Hayes can call it what he wants, Bergdahl is a traitor in my view.
Just to be clear here, Trump wasn’t giving his legal analysis, he was giving his opinion....which by the way I totally agree with.
Desertion makes him a traitor and amoral slug.
