Video was released of the Moroccan gunman immediately after the terrorist attack on a high-speed train from Brussels to Paris.
The terrorist is laying on the floor hog-tied by US servicemen. ** They beat him unconscious before they tied him up.
Spencer Stone, of the U.S. Air Force, was traveling with Oregon National Guard member Alek Skarlatos, 22, (right) who was on leave after a tour of Afghanistan, when he heard the gunman load his weapon in the toilet. Skarlatos shouted ‘Spencer, go!’ and they charged him down. (Daily Mail)
The train staff locked themselves into a staffroom during the attack. The Daily Mail reported:
“ Train staff on board the high speed train which was the scene of a suspected Islamic extremist attack yesterday have been accused of barricading themselves in their staffroom and locking the door, leaving passengers to fend for themselves.
The Moroccan terrorist was disarmed and beaten unconscious by US servicemen and a British man after he opened fire on a Paris-bound train with a Kalashnikov.
Now, French actor Jean-Hugues Anglade, who was on board the Thalys train during the attack has slammed train staff who he claims locked themselves in an office away from the attacker and refused to help the trapped passengers."

It does not appear that the terrorist was ever able to fire a round, but he did have a box cutter and wounded at least one of the servicemen with it.
The media loves the prison term "lockdown".
When asked why he felt it necessary to beat the attacker unconscience the Us Marine explained, “My friends were simply trying to hold the guy until the police showed up but he just kept breaking away and running into my fist”
The French were warned about the terrorists,

Yeah? Well none of the train people are armed. why wouldn’t they hide? Want them to catch bullets with their teeth?
I’m not sure of the proximity of those “train officials”, but unless they were right on top of the shooter, they wouldn’t have had a chance to approach him and take him down.
Our military men were close enough to hear and instantly recognize the gun mechanism, prepping the chamber for the first shot.
They did what they had to do.
In a situation like this, some people want to assess blame. Sometimes there isn’t someone to blame. You have an idiot and he went off.
We’d like to think train officials (or anyone for that matter) could step in, but it’s not likely they could have. Them committing suicide accomplishes nothing.
I will say that security must have been pretty lax to allow this guy to get that gun on board. There again, do we want to submit our wives to strip searches to board trains?
The public needs to be trained to respond if they are the nearest person to something like this happening. Chances are they’ll wind up dead anyway. The closest ten people need to overpower the guy and put his lights out.

You would first have to overcome decades of teaching that only cops are qualified to handle criminals.

Nothing having to do with the police would be coming to my mind.
I would consider myself dead already. I would try to see if I could deflect the gun to let others in and take they guy out.
I would also like to see legislation what would exonerate anyone killing the perp on the spot.
Any animal pulling a stunt like this should know up front they won’t leave the train car breathing.
Flight 93 and the others what went into the Pentagon and the Twin Towers, yes, they were all dead.
The good thing about a train, is that a lone guy probably won’t take the train out. At least not with this guy’s methods.
I don’t know what the engine security is like. That should be a concern.
