Trump is all flash? Oh please. Walker won’t even say what he thinks about the anchor baby issue. And Trump is correct when he says there is a good case that the 14th Amendment does not apply to non-citizens who are not here legally, and it needs to go to court. And Walker’s been clear as mud about the whole immigration issue since he started. If he wasn’t trying to play catch up with Trump he would still be calling for a pathway to citizenship.

Leaders know where they stand and rally people to their side. Trump is showing he knows more about leadership than all the others combined.

So, we should trust Ted Cruz’s words?

Like when he said TPA contained “dangerous powers” that Obama should not have and introduced an amendment to strip those powers away or the Ted Cruz who voted to give Obama those powers after his amendment failed miserably?

Should we trust Ted Cruz when he voted to make it near impossible to vote down the Iran deal because he voted to make it an extremely high bar to defeat, but an easy one to pass?

Should we trust Ted Cruz’s words on immigration, like his 500% increase in H1-B visas (an exact US Chamber position) or when he amended the Gang of 8 bill to give work permits to all illegals in this country (an exact US Chamber position)?

All Ted Cruz has are words and he has shown they are worthless via his actions.

Scott Walker’s actions are solidly conservative and you cannot deny that, so you parse his words in hopes of finding something you do not like.

I’m sorry that you are all in for a dud. Really, I am. Conservatives seem to have a unique ability want to pick people with zero leadership qualities to be their leaders.

First, if you need excitement in a candidate, then you will get an entertainer, not a leader.

Second, Walker's accomplishments in Wisconsin demonstrate his leadership, which is far superior to any other candidate running.

But Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan!~ That is plain and simple to see. Ronald reagan was humble, Trump is an egotiscal blowhard whom many times has to apologize and apologize to many others. Trump needs to learn to stick his foot in his mouth and think before having an outburst that afterwards was brought on by his temper. Can you imagine Trump in a room of world leaders - it would be like the analogy of cat in room full of rocking chairs. just wrong move and (Trump the cat) may have to watch his tail so as no to get it stepped on or get under the rocking chairs and than Trump would bellow like an Elephant!

He has the spine of a jellyfish.

What a stupid liar you are.

Walker faced the recall and never once apologized for his conservatism. He continued to enact conservative policies in Wisconsin when facing re-election as well, never apologizing for his positions.

Ted Cruz says TPA contains "dangerous powers" that President Obama should not have. Ted Cruz even introduced an amendment to TPA to "fix" those "dangerous powers". But, after his "fix" is defeated, Ted Cruz votes for TPA and then has to write an explanation to everyone about it.

THAT is spineless flip-flopping.

On Immigration, Cruz Aims for Middle Ground "What Cruz has tried to articulate in both word and deed is a middle ground. It got no support from Democrats in Washington, but it goes further than many on the far right want to go by offering leniency to undocumented immigrants here already: A path to legal status, but not to citizenship. A green card with no right to naturalization."

“TRAIL OF TEARS” HUH?

No, it would be “Trail of criminals.” However, they might be crying simply because they got caught and will lose their free goodies from the government.

THEY ARE CRIMINALS! THEY BROKE THE LAW! Get their asses off our lawn!

Just saying - picking a fight with the great FReeper CW isn’t really gentlemanly behavior. And, if you’d like folks to read that stuff you post, you might consider leaving the spacing and fonts in the standard format. It screams Lyndon Larouche the second you see it.

They’ve been let in and it’s time to stop that! It’s the “leadership” that has allowed this; you can’t blame those who have taken advantage of the situation, anyone would.

I predict your obsession with Walker is going to get you banned from this site soon.

No, you are hoping Walker people get banned because you really have no argument against Walker. You cannot attack his RECORD of clear, conservative accomplishments that puts Ronald Reagan, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump to shame.

People like you get mesmerized by words, just like Obama supporters, rather than look for candidates with a true track record.

If Jim ever gets to the point where he bans those who support substantive conservative candidates, then I will be happy to leave FR.

I have been asked that many times on FR - Who is my candidate of choice? Right now there are what is it 16 or 17 candidates (Perry in or out), and Trump has the momentum right now and there seems to be the trend to jump on the Trump bandwagon. There is the other trend Cruz bandwagon. Really whom will bring about what America needs right now. JOBS, Deal with illegal immigration, Deal with the Guest worker visa (shut the door) issue, Bring back american manufacturing to the US from Mexico, China, Vietnam. Look at Mexico Ford makes vehicles there and exports them to the US market, (yes exports them with no tax). Look at Hershey Chocolates left the US and canada in 2007 to produce chocolate in Mexico (look at the back of your package). what about Emerson electric, it left the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2006 for Mexico. GE Healthcare from Wisconsin has decided to produce healthcare diagnostic equipment in China.

Wait a minute you want America to buy American made products, but it looks like everything comes from Mexico, China or wherever else. hell I would never buy another Chrysler product ever again. i would buy a Honda, Toyota, or Volkswagen. When purchasing computer products for my business, i have gone to a company called Milwaukee PC and had them make multiple computers with a new server. Soon i will have to upgrade the system, but will i buy a Dell or some other manufactured computer by a name brand. Why because our computers are made in China!

You want jobs and support the American Economy - Buy from your local people first, than go out regional (may be across state lines) before going through the global marketplace.

Which candidate in 2016 will do what America needs to sustain the American Dream!!!!

“But to put the $165 billion into perspective, not only is it a drop in the bucket compared with the trillions that the currupt Washington cartel has scandalously put the country into debt for, but also consider the following.”

Is that number applied to ASSUME in what it would take to physically round them up and move them?

I remember a President who did nothing about those who were held hostage by the Islamists in Tehran. Then came along Reagan who told them straight out that unless they released them, we were coming to get them. So what happened the day of his first inauguration? The credibility of his words caused other to act.

I will submit that knowing the gig is up, they will start to self deport in very large numbers rather quickly and those who hire them will start issuing under the table pink slips as well, knowing the enforcement of e-verify is coming at them like a speeding train. Wouldn’t it be novel that we, the taxpayers, actually start to receive something we are paying for anyway?

Odd you would call Walker a flipper when the RINO Trump has flip flopped more in one month than Walker in his entire political career.

Trump cultists are entertaining but ultimately sad.

Sour Kraut voted for Obama in ‘08, loathed Palin and insulted her so much he had to defend himself against charges that he wasn’t a woman-hater. God knows who Will voted for in ‘08 since Adlai Stevenson wasn’t running again.

>> Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump and David Horowitz were also Democrats.

George Will tried to warn us about what a disaster Ronald Reagan would be.

Thank GOD he failed!

When George Will “warns” us re: Donald Trump, he has zero credibility.

He’s an articulate incompetent.

You state “ you can’t blame those who have taken advantage of the situation, anyone would.”

Is that the same as the blacks breaking into the stores in Ferguson and stealing everything. After all, they were breaking the law and “taking advantage of the situation” too.

Break the law and you are a criminal...period! Get over it.
