Biden consults with Warren as he mulls 2016 Presidential bid.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden left the seclusion of the Delaware home where he's been weighing a presidential run to meet Saturday with Elizabeth Warren — another influential Democrat who has faced calls to enter the 2016 race.

Biden's meeting with Warren was the latest sign that the vice president is seriously considering entering the race, and that he's increasingly discussing it with Democratic leaders outside of his small cadre of longtime advisers.

A rising star in the party, Warren was the subject of an intense lobbying campaign by a group called Draft Warren that sought to persuade her to enter the race. Warren ruled out running in 2016, and a super PAC similarly named Draft Biden later emerged and has been laying the groundwork for a potential Biden candidacy.

Warren, a vocal advocate for economic fairness and Wall Street reform, has notably refrained from endorsing Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders or the other candidates. She retains the vocal support of many in the liberal wing of the Democratic Party, making her endorsement one of the most highly sought in the primary.

Biden spent the past several days at his home in a secluded, wooded suburb of Wilmington spending time with family — but also meeting with his longtime political aides to assess what it would take to launch a viable presidential campaign against well-funded Democratic opponents with a huge head start.

Although Biden has yet to make a decision, his advisers have started gaming out mechanics like fundraising, ballot deadlines and an early primary state strategy. Another key consideration is the personal consequences for Biden and his family, who are still mourning the death of the vice president's son, Beau Biden, a few months ago.

Nervous? She’s probably furious enough to stroke out.

Trump is dominating the national conversation. Issues that were unmentionable 2 months ago are now center stage, because Trump
is setting the agenda. The usual Democrat nonsense like “income inequality”, fake racism, and the GOP “war on women” are completely lost in all of this.

Meanwhile, the Democrat standard bearer, Mrs Clinton, is buried in scandal. And as much as the liberal media tries to portray this as all about using a private email server without permission, more people are beginning to understand that this scandal is really about covering up her influence peddling and bribery, her fake charity, and being careless about classified information and national secrets.

The only viable alternative in the Democrat primaries currently is Bernie Sanders, a crazy sounding socialist who would lead the party to a resounding defeat in the general election.

The Democrat party needs to get control of the national conversation again, which means giving their MSM lapdogs something else to talk about and someone else to do the talking. They are going to have to get Mrs Clinton out of the way soon and replace her with something that their base and maybe the electorate as whole would find palatable.

This Biden/Warren ticket has been in the works for months, and the recent chatter and leaks suggest that their big “announcement” will happen soon, probably right after Labor Day.

But, everything is relative.

Warren, a vocal advocate for economic fairness and Wall Street reform . . .

This is outright bullsh*t. Elizabeth Warren is bought and paid for by Wall Street.

If there isn't a real race on the Dem side, those in states which let voters choose their ballot on primary day can choose the Republican ballot and "vote for the worst". That would be Jeb.

So we WANT Biden, Sanders, Warren, the whole multi-ring circus in the running!

Yes, Joe at least has a somewhat likeable regular guy vibe. Plus I just don’t think people are willing to go with another “minority” (iow woman) right now. Its too iffy a proposition and people associate “minority” with “taker”. People are beginning to understand we are almost out of other people’s money.

If it’s Biden (4) and Warren (8) vs Trump (4) someone who hasn’t insulted him (8), it will be just what the US needs. The interest level will be incredible and people will care about the future of the US. There will be a real discussion of ideas. It will be a real slam to the puppetmasters choosing the candidate.

Joe Biden got 1% the last time he ran for president. He is only vice president because he supports the same terror tactics that obama supports plus he is dumber then obama.

That man is stupid enough to just try..

And there are plenty of people stupid enough to vote for him.

Back in 08 when 0bama named Biden as his VP, I made a comment in front of my boss and a young black 0bama supporter. I said “I wonder who’s life Biden will co-opt for this?”

The young 0bama sycophant was visibly perplexed as my boss who knew the story acknowledged Biden’s plagiarism and they went about their merry support for 0bama.

I thought it would be poetic justice for our utterly bottomed out culture to meet its doom in a president Obama. It would be even more fitting if it met its end in a nincompoop president Biden. The leader truly can reflect his people. ;-)

I still find it extraordinary that there are soo many people that are not only ignorant, but are both willfully and even militantly ignorant.

The latter are what, technically, is called “stupid”.

You make a valid point, but, I'm thinking if the Dems could choose our candidate, it would be Trump. They think he's a dufus brain who's off the chain; a nut-case most Americans would not vote for, especially Hispanics. But, I could be wrong.
