Breaking News... RT is the first English language source with this, but is not allowed on FR.
NHK saying there were several explosions at the Sagami Depot in Kanagawa.
One has to be concerned what kind of toys the US military has stored there.
"If we made 100 promises of 'Seas of Fire' we can't very well go and do NOTHING after our stupid box land-mines and couple of shells, the other day..."
So we'll be hearing of 10,000 Norky TV broadcasts screaming about how they nuked US forces in Japan, and our guys are crawling the streets, disemboweled and ashamed of challenging the Dear Leader, blah, blah, blah.
And there are still a bunch of subs out there, so maybe they'll try to do a torpedo job (again).
NHK showing Witness reporting that there were explosions for 15 minutes...
Zama has been attacked several times in past years. “Revolutionary Army.” But who knows yet about this one...
Been a couple of explosions in China, too.
Japanese TV News video of the explosions, from another angle:

Active Duty ping.
Largest NAF in the Pacific is there somewhere.
According to Wikipedia several tenant squadrons of the USS George Washington CAG. The GW is in San Diego as of 8/10/15:
Strike Fighter Squadron 27 Royal Maces
Strike Fighter Squadron 102 The Diamondbacks
Strike Fighter Squadron 115 Eagles
Strike Fighter Squadron 195 Dambusters
Electronic Attack Squadron 141 Shadowhawks
Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 115 Liberty Bells
Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 30 Detachment FIVE Providers
Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 51 Warlords
Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 77 “Saberhawks”
Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 12 “Golden Falcons”
Looks like ammunition cooking off.
That sounds really bad. Looking at the satellite view of the area, there are private homes just on the other side of the fence from this facility, which is pretty small — 1.3 miles by 4000 feet. That doesn’t give a lot of distance to protect people from blast or shrapnel.
There are going to be a lot of casualties.
“Quick, get Caroline Kennedy!”
Someone will have to explain it to her, and that’ll take some time.
Sagamihara, Japan
The terrain just does not support this location as there is lots of water in the video. Google earth has this city well inland.
Sabotage?
The NHK broadcast stated so far there are ZERO deaths, ZERO injuries.
Super surprising.
Yeah, this seems like a Nork symbolic victory op (or less likely a genuine accident).
It was at the Sagami General Depot. The map shown on the Japanese TV report a couple comments up supports this.
It’s not at Atsugi or Zama.
