He voted twice for President Barack Obama. He watches as Donald Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, berates the president on a near-daily basis.

And yet, he's considering voting for Donald Trump.

"He has a history of getting the job done. We need someone as president who can get the job done, and I feel that he’s not afraid to take on the challenges," he said.

He is one Republican voter out of 29 that participated in a focus group Monday conducted by pollster Frank Luntz.

And yet, just a bit ago, news came from Zogby that Trump mania will soon be gone.

I’m just waiting for the first person to say “Trump has jumped the Shark.”

He’s not my candidate, but bless his heart.....he sure has a lot panties in a wad.

A socialist is a socialist... A narcissist is a narcissist. Trump is the new Obama. It makes total sense.

I hear a lot of people talking about “getting the job done” and very little discussion about what the “job” is. If it means implementing more socialist like controls over the citizens and their money, NO I dont want the job to get done.

Some a*shole on a news network said that Trump jumped the shark. That must have been his first time above ground in several weeks.

Ditto.

We're going down the crapper for certain. At least we can have a little entertainment as we do.

They are sick of it because they are losing jobs to immigrants, legal and illegal, and their wages are being depressed. We have a surplus of labor.

And then there are the millions of Americans who have been the victims of illegal alien crime. Trump was the first one to put a face on the American victims of criminal aliens. Heretofore, all we got from the MSM and the politicians were sob stories about the undocumented living in the shadows separated from their families.

Trump is sticking up for the American people, something none of the others have done when it comes to immigration.

I heard ¡Jeb! Fanboui Connie Mack say that, last night. Poor guy, he sounded so effeminate that even the CNN host kind of rolled his eyes, when the guy said it.

“and very little discussion about what the job is”

Maybe you missed Trump’s immigration plan.

He is working with Forbes and Laffer on the tax plan that he’ll release next.

Yeah, I don’t buy it. A “republican of convenience” or a Republi-con.

People are tired of PC.
Trump is not PC.
With Obama they tried PC and got bit badly, this is Obama backlash.
Trump is the opposite of Obama.
It’s a great thing.

Needy people looking for someone else to take responsibility for them.

No, I caught Trumps immigration plan, which I consider to be a good start. There are other comments from Trump which show him to be far more socialist than I am comfortable with, but I will with hold my judgement and give him time to communicate his plans and details.

I was speaking more broadly about all of the GOP candidates and the voters in general. There seems to be a lot of blind following of voters who heard a sound bite or two and based on that, want their candidate to “get the job done”, while only having a very narrow understanding of what job they are talking about.

Insightful, really. It seems to me that the Shark to which refer is the collective wisdom of the establishment RINO GOPe poweratti, their PAC and CoC donors, self-serving media and political pundits and consultants, and a whole lot of people out there I’ll call ‘acolytes’ for the new whatever savior-du-jour.....

He isn’t my candidate, but I’m damned sure amused right now. I hope he succeeds in destroying the RINO status quo and power hierarchy - particularly the candidacy of Yebito Bush.
