Scarborough Thanks MSNBC Boss for Booting Liberal Hosts
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 08/27/2015 5:23:52 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

The morning after Al Sharpton was booted to the Sunday morning desert from his evening show, and not long after Ed Schultz and Alex Wagner were relieved of their hosting duties, Joe Scarborough has profusely thanked NBC News honcho Andrew Lack for making those changes.

On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough was discussing stunning poll results in which the first word that came to voters' minds about Hillary was "liar." Asked what was the worst thing said about him in such polling, Scarborough said "he works for MSNBC was always the worst." But Joe then added, his hands steepled in a gesture of gratefulness: "not any more though, cause things have changed. Thank you, Andy. Thank you very much."

Scarborough thanks MSNBC boss for getting rid of liberal hosts.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

PS: more newsworthy is poll mentioned in piece in which first word that comes to voters’ minds about Hillary is “liar.”

That’s about the 5th word I would use after a few choice ones.

Well, I hate to say it but Morning Joe has the best coverage of Trump and Clinton.

Wasn’t he thinking about running for president at one point?

I spend a fair amount of time watching Morning Joe. It's probably the slower pace of the show that pulls me in.
Of course there's many a day where the loonie-left guests like Howard Dean or Eugene Robinson chase me over to Fox.

I never thought I’d watch that show again, but with so much going on politically, Fox and Friends still spends a bunch of time with frivolous coverage like entertainment, health, cooking segments, etc. Joe is actually watchable!

But in the same segment, I was struck by what a traitor Nicolle Wallace is to her former boss (Bush 43). When the segment stated that Jeb’s negative was that he was a “Bush”, Wallace stated that could be positive, since 41 was so well loved. She sure didn’t defend 43!

But I shouldn’t be surprised. She trashed Sarah Palin and is certainly no friend to conservatives.

And he used to be my “Republican” congressman in the panhandle of Florida, that is until an intern mysteriously turned up dead in his office.

I’ve actually been watching a little of Mourning Joe recently. Scarborough must have stopped drinking because he sounds like a Republican. And Mika hasn’t been as swarmy as her normal self. Maybe she has a cold or something. I’m sure they’ll get back in line at some point.

MSNBC needs an audience. Conservatives are beyond fed up with having been trash-heaped by Fox. Could MSNBC make a smart marketing decision and start being guided by Constitutional Conservative principles?

I can’t watch Fox & friends. Everytime I tune in, no matter what atrocity has occurred, they are out on 6th Avenue grilling food.

See my post 16, lol.

I hate Wallace. Absolutely hate her. She couldn’t even make it on the View she’s so lame.

Agreed—they’ve been pretty good of late—and the changes at MSNBC are an improvement.

LOL ... I hear ya’ with the outdoor BBQ thingy. My biggest complaint is that every time I switch to Fox, they’re in a commercial break.
