REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES NEED A BETTER MESSAGE THAN TRUMP'S AND THEY BETTER FIND IT OR ELSE.......

What is Donald Trump?

Is he serious or is he some sort of show? Is he some asymmetrical weapon sent in by the Clinton's to disrupt the Republican Party?

He is certainly doing a good deed by tearing down the Republican Establishment and its anointed candidate, Jeb Bush.

His strong push on Amnesty has drawn fire from the GOPe and its affiliated media who have reacted to the backlash by sometimes backing off or in one case even joining him like Ann Coulter (a spy sent in by the GOPe???).

Trump has sucked away the attention and opinion poll ratings of all the other candidates and now that he's asking for campaign contributions, the money may be sucked away from the other candidates as well.

I support Ted Cruz but I admit his message can't match Trump's.

When I listen to Trump hearken to America's tradition of economic greatness and famous military leaders of the past like Patton and MacArthur I am reminded of the words of a British political leader who spoke in our country earlier this year.

United Kingdom Independence Party leader Nigel Farage told a sparse audience at the CPAC gathering that Republicans had better not 'forget the Reagan Democrats'.

I sense that Trump is resonating with folks like that folks like my father, who fits the "Reagan Democrat" description.

They remember a time when there were full time jobs in America that paid good wages and came with medical benefits.

Now they see a flood of lower paying part time jobs for their children and grandchildren. They see Obamacare driving up healthcare costs for the employed, so insurance companies and hospital groups can rake in money.

The under 30 hour jobs and the Cadillac Health Plan tax in Obamacare were designed to help big business cut and contain their health insurance costs just like a socialist single payer system would, but retaining the private health insurance concept.

"Barack Obama sold out working people in America"-who will step up to the plate to speak that truth.

The biggest offense to the Reagan Democrats is the flood of illegal immigrants and plans to legalize them with Amnesty. They are disgusted by the cheapening of the labor market hurting their children and grandchildren's future.

Over in the UK United Kingdom Independence Party leader Nigel Farage describes his country's political system as "corporatism", a collaboration of big banks, big business and big government against small business and individuals.

I support Ted Cruz but Ted had better wake up and start talking like I just did in this post or else he will be left behind as the Trump Tsunami engulfs him.

Jeb Bush was never electable. He was never going to win enough primaries to win the nomination outright.

GOPe plan was to engineer a sixteen person rugby scrum that would end in a deadlock. Nothing about Kasich or Lindsey Graham being in this race makes sense otherwise.

In a deadlocked convention they planned to hand Jeb the prize in a formerly smoke filled back room. Then they’d go on to “lose with dignity” just like 2012, 2008, 1996.

Except Trump came along and threw a big ol’ monkeywrench into their plans.

That cockeyed reasoning got us 8 years of Obama. I’ve never understood the concept of winning by losing. The way the Rats have done it over the past 50 years is the strategy. You win with small incremental steps.

The other candidates seem weak. Trump has courage.

I’m confused—it sounds like you’re saying Trump has the right message.

Ted's problem is money. He won't get a penny from any traditional GOPe donors for his primary run and then it's iffy if he'd get anything even if he managed to win the nomination.

I think a Trump/Cruz ticket would be unbeatable. Then Cruz is perfectly positioned for 2020 or 2024. I don't think if Trump won he'd look for a second term and that leaves the door wide open.

You pretty much summed up my feelings on the issue.

I KNOW I will be disappointed with Bush or another RINO as president.

At least with Trump I might be pleasantly surprised.

Too late. The GOPe/T trust train left the station in 2012 and again 2014.

Every other GOP candidate SUCKS. I like Cruz, but his voice-creaking, waffling embarrassment on MeGyn Kelly the other night was a real wake up call. I don’t think he has “it”. But he is going nowhere in the corrupt Senate. I would rather see him on the SCOTUS, if Trump is elected. Ben Carson is terrific, but as a VP. There is not a single other GOPe-planted candidate I would support. Scott Walker is a complete fraud and idiot, and his liberal wife with the big mouth is a deal breaker. I would stay home if Jeb were the nominee.

Face it, if we leave the GOP to it’s own devices, we are going to continue to lose anyway.

We only gain by creative destruction at this point IMO.

There is no need, when we can simply take control of the current GOP.

The whole US political system is designed around 2 parties.

Conservatives can wrestle control from the RINO leadership, just as the commies did to the Democratic party in 1968.

He said he supports Cruz.

So you think the GOPe supports Cruz.

That’s why I would be more than happy to see Trump run third-party. It would drive the final nail into the coffin of this useless and corrupt GOP.

Yep! I'm saying the same thing on every Trump thread I see.

Just got back from a managers meeting for my company. Managers from all over the country were there. Every one I talked to is backing Trump. Every single person. Even the President of the company who is a typical GOPe voter. He was even enthusiastic for Romney and still defends him! Well, he's supporting Trump too. I was amazed at the level of support and at the disgust people feel for the GOP after the 2014 election.

I made some eyes nearly pop out when I said I wished Trump would run 3rd party so we could kill the GOP but when I made my case about the uniparty killing our country a few came around...not completely but I think I got them thinking.

Agreed. GOPe distain for their constituency is responsible for creating the environment for candidate Trump.

Popular for his stance on immigration, sure but MORE popular for what he ISN’T. He isn’t one of “them”, he has a spine and says what so very many of us wish we could say to the huge numbers of people to whom he has access.

Donald Trump has in effect and among other things told the debate crushing PC crowd to miss his assand I am loving every f’n minute of it.

.

Donald Trump ... and his message ... have blown Yeb Bush and John Kasisch out of the water ...

Ted Cruz was NEVER going to be able to do that ...

I'll gladly take the current situation over the alternative of a "Yeb Bush Nightly Victory Propaganda Parade" on Fox News ...

with GOPe cheerleaders George Will and Charles Krauthammer ...

Ted’s poll numbers are really not moving much at all. That is what is concerning to me.

We’d get Bernie Sanders or Liz Warren as President.

I'm not sure about that. If Trump ran I think he could win.

On Trump: “He is certainly doing a good deed by tearing down the Republican Establishment and its anointed candidate, Jeb Bush.”....

No, the Republican Establishment has destroyed themselves. Bush is the choice of the demodummies and the media, the rino’s do nothing but support that.

Personally, I think Trump is doing the rino’s a BIG favor by stirring the pot which will hopefully wake them up. Unless they do wake up, the rino’s are done.
