That is why ALL of us should place the families of the Charleston SC church shooting in the highest possible regards.

Where was Obama, black lives matter, Soros and the NOI? Oh, they were egging on black racism or calling on blacks to murder their “oppressors” - White people and cops.

Here is an opposing premise.
If we do background checks will angry gay black men be denied gun rights or will they sue for discrimination?

I hate to say this but we can already see that the leftists will turn the dad into the next Gabby Gifford’s husband and go all anti-gun on everyone. It’s evil how they manipulate for their own agenda.

No kidding.

Just imagine what would have happened if that shooting had been in Baltimore, or Philly or some other big NE city.

As for the author, Rex Huppke, he failed to make hay with this argument "NRA, where were the good guys".

As recent as the potential train massacre in France, unarmed heroes can subdue a heavily armed terrorist, provided there is a window of opportunity for such bravery.

I was just there, literally..same spot, about 3 weeks ago. It is a raised wooden strip mall right on the water front of Smith Mountain Lake. It is normally crawling with people who are vacationing at SML. It was empty because the interview was taking place at 6:45 in the morning.

The cogent question is how did the POS know that there was an interview being conducted there at that time? I suspect it's because he followed them from the station.

I’ve been saying since Obamacare passed that it was the gateway to backdoor gun control. This incident will move that cause forward.

First they’ll claim they are just “gathering data,” then they’ll have academic studies create a profile, and when another incident occurs, they’ll apply the ol’ “we have to do something” media technique.

Their goal is to require a mental health screening prior to gun purchase. This will necessarily prohibit private sales.

It’s coming.

I have been involved in event management. Security, armed, is essential. I cannot fathom a remote live event by a regional tv station being conducted without a security contingent. Get real, people. Deputy sheriffs and off-duty police officers jump at the chance to pick up a few shekels while providing effective, trained ARMED protection for those doing their regular job. Just saying...

Qiviut said: "... why this guy fell through the cracks, ..."

There have always been evil people willing to kill others because they didn't care about the lives of others or even their own lives.

I think it is a grave mistake to assume that such people are "sick" and need some kind of societal help to get over their sickness. Rabid dogs are sick. In order to protect innocent people, such dogs are shot on sight.

We can't shoot an evil person on sight and they don't give themselves away by foaming at the mouth. We can, however, be armed and ready at all times to defend ourselves from their actions and we should have no qualms about doing so.

Their is no societal structure which will eliminate such evil. This murderer didn't "fall through the cracks", he leaped to his death while clutching others in his grasp.

To answer the question, the good guys definitely weren’t in Chicago.

A most disturbing issue as one watched an interview with family member Andy Parker was the lightning speed with which the interview popped up on TV bypassing the mourning, sincerity and humility stage that comes with grieving for a recently murdered family member.

Mr. Parker instead calls for gun control delivering his shocking political call to action to America within seconds:

We’ve got to do something about crazy people getting guns.

Who out there trusts this central socialist government after the deliberate orchestration of 'Fast and Furious'?

Is there something to be discovered here in this 'shooting incident' that doesn't seem quite right?

Again the shooter commits suicide and is moved offstage perhaps to pop up somewhere else living another life. If so, then America is a stage on which to present plays written and directed by the liberal pansies we've elected to rule our lives.
