Such ghastly scenes were uncommon, though IIRC one of the biggest mass killings in early 20th century US history was, in fact, at a school.
I would not say “nothing” was in the killer’s soul. The spiritual world, like nature, abhors vacuums. The devil was in that soul.

What? That’s all the blame as far as I can see it. Nothing to do with this guys hatred of heterosexual white people. But, that doesn’t matter. If he had used a car to run them down we’d all be turning our cars in. Right? Easy to blame an inanimate object. I really don’t like these people.

A racist black guy kills some white people, and there’s no outcry for banning any symbols, but perhaps controlling guns. No matter what the situation, liberals always find an opportunity.

When each of us hears that a “nation” that we are in has rejected God, he or she should ask “where is my own heart in the matter.”
“God cares” is the keynote to restoration and recovery. If your heart is carrying on like God doesn’t care, or only cares a little, then the old saw about being part of the problem rather than part of the solution might be appropriate. (For, or against.)
