Trump is not perfect. He’s said not all that long ago he prefers some policies that we know are screamingly liberal and could even be big headaches...

But one thing I have noticed is that he hasn’t gotten into anybody’s face about any of those policies. They do not seem to be where his passion is. It looks intriguingly to me like this is a divinely arranged appointment that is going to change Trump, rather than bear the imprint of the old Donald. Trump’s calling is bigger than Trump, and he doesn’t have to be a stained glass saint going into this thing in order for that to happen either.

On a worldly plane, he’s getting a lot of advice from conservatives that he is listening to. He even seemed to come out in favor of the self defense aspect of the 2nd amendment the other day.

Because of the cession of most effective power to the Executive by the Legislative Branch and the alliance of the Judicial Branch with the Executive, the next election will be for Dictator. If we elecct a solid conservative who sticks to the Constitution he will fail because the power ceded to the Executive was actually ceded to the Democrat ruling class. A Conservative electee has to be a very powerful, yes, dictator, or he will put the Democrat Total State permanently in place because the whole left including the USSC, Congress and the Agencies will make life impossible for him. The new president has to use the pen and phone and maybe the army. If we get one such we can onbly hope against hope that he will use the power he has to goad the States into taking back their powers. Trying to give Congressional powers back to Congress will be handing power over to the Democrat rulers in the Agencies. The next president will probably be facing a de jure as well as de facto Democrat Congress- both houses. After the last two elections, who is going to vote for Republicans again?

“divinely arranged appointment that is going to change Trump, rather than bear the imprint of the old Donald”

Quite an observation. I believe in that stuff.

I think he loves america and has committed his life and some expendable treasure to ensure it succeeds
