MEGYN KELLY: THE FIRST CASUALTY IN DONALD TRUMP’S ‘ASYMMETRIC’ WAR ON FOX NEWS
Breitbart ^ | August28,2015 | Matthew Bolye

Posted on 08/28/2015 5:31:27 AM PDT by Hojczyk

2016 GOP frontrunner and billionaire Donald Trump already won his war with the Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly.

She’s exposed as having a point of view, rather than being a purely impartial arbiter of news. Now he’s just having fun as a larger war between him and the network’s powers-that-be looms.

But what Trump has done in a truly special manner is expose that fallacy. It’s not that Trump’s war with Kelly isn’t petty—it is, and it is probably counterproductive to be fighting with a television personality for weeks on end as he’s soaring in the polls. He could be fighting with the Mexican or Chinese governments or with Democrats or his fellow GOP candidates—all of which would be more conducive to helping him earn more supporters—but Trump isn’t someone who backs down easily–and since Kelly came after him, not the other way around, he feels like he needs to win. Well, in the regard of whether or not Kelly is in fact impartial, Trump has a decisive victory.

That doesn’t mean that Kelly will see a drop in ratings or a loss of status in the media. She’s still the top dog on the Fox News Channel, and her show still gets incredible ratings. Until a credible competitor emerges—CNN and MSNBC certainly haven’t been able to make the cut—she’ll remain there, just like O’Reilly and Hannity have. But Trump has taken one thing away from her that she and her bosses at Fox can never replace, no matter how much time or money they spend on it: the appearance of impartiality.

FOX has some nasty items about Trump on their Facebook this morning. I told them where to go.

I don’t understand his premise. It has always appeared The Kelly File was, like O’Reilly and Hannity, not a news show, but a commentary. But I have not watched FOX since 2012, except for the recent debate.

Agreed. She would be no where if it were not for her looks and ditzy flirting behavior .

I have seen photo’s of her when she is out of the town and boy she sure does love to show her nipples and other assets off. Then recently I saw a video of her on the Stern show talking about her husbands penis , her sex life etc

Nothing but a glorified tramp who has the dim wits praising her.

Precedent is important. He avoids future attacks. Who wants another Bush who never responded?

Ms. Kelly’s on-air persona is that of a bright, chirpy and funny commentator when at its roots rests self-promotion, egotism and naked ambition. Trump exposed the latter.

I was too. I thought Trump was a crybaby when he complained but when I saw how She went after Cruz, it came to me that she just hates anyone but Bush. Sorry Megyn, you are a harpy.

I’m looking forward to the televised debate Trump pulls out of and instead broadcasts his live replies on the Internet. There, he’ll be able to answer legitimate questions in real time and he’ll also be able to ridicule the questioners for loaded, or stupid, of fight-inducing or agenda setting questions. I would bet such an Internet broadcast would outdraw the actual event.

The alphabets and the cable TV people (and the politicians who took their money) have worried about just such a scenario for some time. None of them are willing to go quietly into that good night. Think the internet "kill switch" is actually for our safety?

Has it really dropped? I have been hoping so. As a matter of fact she has infected all of Fox and their slip is showing.

Maybe Chris Wallace will step up to the plate. I’d like to see him sent down to the minor leagues.

Chris Wallace is and always will be Minor league. If it weren't for his daddy's name he'd be in Podunk, USA doing the weekly gossip column.

I have often wondered why these “debates” are moderated by the networks anchors. Every one from Sean Hannity to Megyn Kelly to Brett Baier are commentators, no different from political communist and editorial writers.
Why not have the news reporters moderate? Ed Henry or Candy Crowley? Lester Holt or Don Lemon?

Whoever elevated Mike's unlikable son to his current position needs to be sent to the minors...or to a treadmill.

Trump's feud with Fox News is critical. By attacking them, the supposed conservative network, he's exposing the fraud of news delivery in the U.S.

ALL of the major news media is controlled and employed by the globalists to create and manipulate opinion. Trump is gunning for the heart of the biggest fraud of all - Rupert Murdoch.

That, is a very long article.

>>> After some more back-and-forth (Wed interview with Ramos) where Kelly noted that Trump is suing Univision for canceling his Miss Universe broadcast contract and that an executive from Univision compared Trump to Charleston, SC murderer Dylann Storm Roof, Kelly asked Ramos another question she could have posed to herself. “Do you understand Trump’s side of it, which is: ‘This is not the outlet I want to take these questions from because their mind is made up about me?’” Kelly asked. <<<

The biggest TELL is that Ms. Kelly did not challenge Ramos on his falsehood, like a 'good journalist' would. She let him went on his one-sided story.

Secondly, Ms. Kelly again inserted herself into the spotlight. A big no-no for ANY journalist.

I don't 'hate' Megyn Kelly and wish her luck on her career. Strange that FNC, Fair and Balanced, wants to expose her like this. But like the author said, she's not a journalist, let alone a good one.
