2016 GOP frontrunner and billionaire Donald Trump already won his war with the Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly.
She’s exposed as having a point of view, rather than being a purely impartial arbiter of news. Now he’s just having fun as a larger war between him and the network’s powers-that-be looms.
But what Trump has done in a truly special manner is expose that fallacy. It’s not that Trump’s war with Kelly isn’t petty—it is, and it is probably counterproductive to be fighting with a television personality for weeks on end as he’s soaring in the polls. He could be fighting with the Mexican or Chinese governments or with Democrats or his fellow GOP candidates—all of which would be more conducive to helping him earn more supporters—but Trump isn’t someone who backs down easily–and since Kelly came after him, not the other way around, he feels like he needs to win. Well, in the regard of whether or not Kelly is in fact impartial, Trump has a decisive victory.
That doesn’t mean that Kelly will see a drop in ratings or a loss of status in the media. She’s still the top dog on the Fox News Channel, and her show still gets incredible ratings. Until a credible competitor emerges—CNN and MSNBC certainly haven’t been able to make the cut—she’ll remain there, just like O’Reilly and Hannity have. But Trump has taken one thing away from her that she and her bosses at Fox can never replace, no matter how much time or money they spend on it: the appearance of impartiality.

what are the comparable ratings before and after the debate for her show? That should show what impact her biased nature is doing to her ratings.

Add me to the list of those who stopped watching Fox nearly as much as before, after that “debate”. They were doing nothing more than going after Trump.
Found NewsMax TV. Channel 223 on Dish Network. Great news shows starting in the afternoon (4pm Central).
Favorite show, The Steve Malzberg Show, at 6pm Central. He takes no prisoners, tells it like it is.
This is nonsense. If anything, she did him a favor. He was going to face questions like this at some point from “journalists” more hostile than Megyn. Now, he can say, “Asked and answered.”

That said, I watch none of Fox News in the evening anymore and Kelly was a pretty good show. But, she stepped in it and I'll watch no more!

Fox Business has become a casualty, as well, with anti-Trump segments and snarks inserted many times a day. I finally went back to CNBC which is actually more impartial and seems to remember that it is a business channel.
Just read that Megyn may be leaving Fox: “Wants to go mainstream and may end up at CNN”.

Too many people are talking about Megyn. She is NOTHING in this fight, as you pointed out. A small on air directive from Murdoch to Ailes, and Ailes to Kelly is all this was. This type of attack is happening maybe 100 times a day in TV and newspapers. The Establishment is at full on war with us. THAT is the real story.

Trump is surrounded by gorgeous women in the pageant women. Accomplished women who know how go present themselves as ladies.
