On a practical side, no one in 2012 held as many state primary leads ax Trump, or as long. Comparisons to 2008 with Guliani or 2012 to Gingrich don't come close.
Most important, no one in any previous primary ever had the "single issue" that illegal immigration has become. And Trump has produced a clear, viable plan---Gingrich or Cain or Perry didn't have such an issue.
Naming his VP choice and Cabinet over the next few months would show that he is the only man with a plan. While certainly unorthodox and presumptive, this approach will suit Trump very well.
Yes, and Washington is the Augean Stable.
No doubt he holds the Trump card.
Well, it’s still a little early LOL!
There’s just SO much that can happen.
It’s undeniable he’s in the catbird seat now though- and it’s deservedly so.
I just can’t wait until President Trump takes office...
I’m so excited by him and his ways...we haven’t seen this since the days of Reagan...
I don’t want to wait, I want to vote in this Nov. 2015 elections and start the ball rolling...

We are fortunate to have a number of good contenders in the Republican mix.
But, Trump has to prove to me how much he cares for the unborn for me to care about supporting him.
What about Vice President Oprah Winfrey?
She’s terrific!

Thanks. That helps. I was at CPAC but missed Trump. But I did see Cruz.
Shes terrific!
Who would EVER suggest an idiotic thing like that?!?!?
What on earth makes you think that Donald Trump wants to eliminate ANY of those departments, much less ALL of them??
Okay great. I’ve attended CPAC several times. I enjoyed it.
I would only add with regard to that article, note that it was from 2011.
He’s held those views for at least four years now.
I was never in favor of abortion, but I did buy into the personal choice claim until the early 90s. I reviewed the issue then and have been stridently pro-life since.
The lack of a decision was one that I would attribute to being more busy in my life and not actually confronting the issue. When I did, I realized I was wrong and changed my view to one of pro-life.
I think Cruz needs to be in the list.
