Some FReepers have been following this.

This is just sickening. I can't wait until the next time these thugs call me up asking for $$$. (I know it's just some poor phone bank guy, but they always claim to be cops).

I hold cops to the same standard they apply to everyone else.

Anyone else shooting an unarmed man who is not a threat would be going up for murder...maybe even the death penalty.

This cop should at least spend the next twenty years in prison.

At least.

Long past time for PE unions to be eliminated. We have to tolerate this crap in the private sector but we should not where the government is concerned.

The police union calls are scams. They are run by professional solicitors who skim 70-80% of the take as their fee. I never give to them. As far as I’m concerned they are criminals.

And they were hired by the police unions.

“we could all be Adam Torres.”

And we all could be John Geer. He was unarmed and not threatening anyone and Torres shot him. Six witnesses contradicted Torres's account of what happened. Second degree murder charge is justified.
